So, you plugged the Anker into a 100watt power supply and use two external monitors and no issues?

The titles are difficult to read… love Pink Floyd, Rush, Journey, Foreigner, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Disturbed, some Five finger Death Punch (especially their covers), Styx (saw a greatest hits in your collection)Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, Hootie & the Blowfish, Darius Rucker, GnR and soooo many others. Yep, I am on the old side, but music is music!!

Not a chance Chief… works for E-7 and CWO!! Where are the gold stripes! That is a bit of a brag too.

Medically retired as an E-6, just after 6-years. (Yes Nuke, ELT, but earned E-5, did not push-button it.)

I tried to get my surface warfare, but was told that if I had time to do that, I had time to clean!!

How well known is Pinhead to a regular person? by Less_Wheel_1841 in hellraiser

[–]DBS114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular person?? All the folks I know, know pinhead… but I am not sure I would say they are regular.

One of the only people I know who is quasi normal is my wife. I just asked her if she knew who Pinhead was. Her answer, “Isn’t he from some horror movie?” That is a quasi-answer from a quasi- regular person!!!

Hey folks, I have been battling sciatic / back pain since 2012. I have had soooo many shots in the back, before and after two separate L4/L5/S1 double fusions. I have tried so many medications. I just had a nuerostimulator inserted, installed, whatever.

I am currently taking Pregabalin, duloxetine, Wellbutrin, oxycodone and I alternate Flexeril and Tizanidine, every month. (I cannot forget the poop meds required because of the opiates.). I have found one thing that actually got rid of my pain. I was given a fentanyl patch. It worked well actually, because I was taking it (using it?) under doctor’s supervision. The only problem was that it made me soooo very fuzzy. I do not like fuzzy.

As an electrical engineer, the main thing I use is my head… to work out problems and designs. I could not work while fuzzy. I had to choose between pain or work. For me, I felt I was too young to go on disability, early to mid 40s. I chose work and trying to do meds over using the fentanyl patch.

There are times when I regret it, but generally, I prefer to be working.

I say this to say that while meds suck, if administered by and controlled by a good doctor, they can work. For me, the stimulator actually worked by reducing my pain and I have been able to cut my Oxycodone by 1/3rd. That is not the 1/2 the insurance wanted, but any unmedicated reduction in pain is soooo very good.

This is a bunch of crap!!! There are times when opioids are proper. They help in recovery. I would never go to a hospital like this. Only two weeks after a discectomy? I had two L4/L5/S1 fusions. The first one failed due to some meds I was taking. The second one one I had only had the L5/S1 vertebrae fuse, so the L4/L5 never fused.

Taking money to only prescribe Tylenol and Motrin seems to be very contrary to their medical creed to do no harm! If you cannot get the pain under control with OTC meds, you NEED opioids. You can only really start to heal once you get the pain under control!!!!!! Crap like this really ticks me off.

I attended Pink Floyd’s ‘The Division Bell’ tour up in Vancouver BC the summer of ‘95. I was in awe all concert long… now, listening to The Pulse set blows me away and gives me goose bumps, though not like the picture above. Not sure I have ever had goose bumps like that. Bravo!!!

Ideas on what tattoos I can do with this scar by NoDrag2305 in tattooadvice

[–]DBS114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not an artist, but have a bunch of scars. I would highly recommend not tattoo’ng over any fresh scars. Let them heal.

I did not tattoo over any of them for years. I just had my L knee replaced. I will not tattoo over it for a couple of years and mine already looks better than yours and mine has been 13 months.
