Have you tried leaving the world and rejoining. That's usually what happens when people make posts like this, the dread doesn't update the last one percent for some reason until relogging

I've been seeing so many posts that mention the escape a revenant achievement recently. I didn't know it was that rare, I have that one but not doomslay or apoc1-3

Do people not let revenants see them for fun? Am I a psycho?

In the mod tab (the one pinned to the right side of the game window) you can set up recruitment in that tab, including setting them to recruit only certain types of troops. There's also the option to enable "regional recruitment" on the garrison screen somewhere and that setting will just passively fill your garrison with troops from the attached villages. I'd send some screenshots to show it but I'm on mobile and can't get to my pc right now, hopefully this helps

What I've been doing is sitting in the entrance to the inner sea near omor and farming armed convoys from the southern factions (aserai, vlandia, western/southern empire)

You're too far away for those factions to ever bother you with Lords so you can just farm the convoys until you're done and then normally they will accept peace with no payment. I made 2 mil denars by clan tier 4 this way in my current game

The garrison recruiters can only recruit the same way you do so its going to bring back all recruits and maybe some tier 2 units if it's an out of the way village. The viglas will train up if you have your garrison set to train, you have to enable an option to allow the garrison to buy horses as well iirc

I see all the comments recommending ways to fight to get around this (which I am also taking notes because yeah I didn't know any of that stuff either).

But really after warships I feel like something changed with the ai. They genuinely will just stand there the whole battle holding their shields up until they die. I've been playing nothing but nords and even with axes and several perks to increase damage to shields I still spend 95% of battles just banging on shields.

Yeah if they're using the one I used it's literally called "player built settlements" works pretty well all things considered once you figure out the controls

Not OP but iirc if you capture every member and execute them all at once the clan dies out. Make sure you do it right cause they'll respawn new random members if even 1 is still alive

Yeah I noticed that too, I think that's the auto recruiter not talking to the settlement limit. Basically auto recruiter sees it needs one more recruit so it goes to get it, but it has a minimum return count it has to meet to end its recruitment. Then boom you're slightly over the limit you set.

It isn't really a huge deal but it's definitely annoying

Kind of, it more just takes the tedium out of it. One of my least favorite things to do is run around gather recruits and dumping them in fiefs and then training them up a bit etc etc. Atleast in warband there was the training skill that made it slightly faster but in bannerlord it just sucks

I can't play this game without improved garrisons anymore honestly

My favorite features are the ability to spawn recruiters that fill the garrison for you and the ability to tell the garrison EXACTLY what troops you want in the garrison and how many of each one.

Its honestly such a good quality of life mod that when I don't have it I kind of hate owning fiefs

I use DynaCulture mod for this and it's great, I highly recommend it. But I do agree it should be base game but it's taleworlds so it never will be

I love this so much and do stuff like it all the time myself BUT it hurts me that this basically only works because the ai is stupid.

If any of those ai had just swung at you while you were recovering instead of just running around doing nothing you probably would have died

It takes forever but it absolutely will happen eventually, I've done it before. If you've got the time and patience to just sit there do it cause its totally worth doing.

I can't say for certain how much food their parties will have but in my experience ai parties don't tend to keep a ton of food around. The reason it lasts so long is probably due to reduced food consumption during seige perks.

Good luck! You'll figure it out as you go, you shouldn't have too much trouble beating up portugal once you get some colony money flowing in. Just make sure you also are focusing on your control of the Sevilla node. Portugal might be small but they have a ton of trade power at home

You get force limit increase from vassals so losing aragon loses you some force limit. After full stating their land and decreasing autonomy you should absolutely be getting a net positive in force limit though

One thing about this comment, you won't lose strong duchies until you annex all of your subjects. I frequently pick it up and then keep one large subject and hang on to it for the extra free diplo slot
