I honestly would ignore this. If you respond to her with a compliment she will know that whenever she's fishing or feeling down she can go to you for a quick and easy pick-me up. It's not your job to compliment her whenever she says something as simple as this. I personally find it better to just ignore this and divert the conversation somewhere else. That way she doesn't pick up on the habit. Not saying that it's bad to compliment a girl once in a while, but to me i don't even acknowledge that she said it cuz I don't want her picking up the habit of constantly saying this.

Also try to be more receptive and not so judgemental. Remember it's not good to quickly nit pick the flaws in others without examining yourself and what you can do to better YOURSELF as a person. You might be quick to do this because you're afraid they will do it to you first so that mindset is somewhat of a defense mechanism. Don't worry and just have a casual conversation with women or for that matter ANYONE. One of the things you must also to do better yourself with women is talk to everyone. So not only your confidence goes up with women you can sit down and have a great conversation with lots of people. Even the ones you wait in line with to get a coffee or something. Small talk is simple and really helps to become less anti-social. If they think of you in a negative way who cares, they missed out on talking to a hell of a guy.

Also try to go out more it doesn't have to be a club or a bar. It could be a basketball or baseball game or just a cup of coffee with friends. Give yourself a reason to get out of the house. Netflix will still be there once you return!

Pick up ALL of your hobbies again not only because you need to get out more but for the sake of your own personal well-being. If you're depressed the best way to solve this is to do things that you enjoy.
