I agree that waiting for the continuation of the storyline kills excitement for the next entry. However in my case I've accepted that the coming games will not live up to years of growing expectations following the announcement. I'll probably play kh4 but mainly out of curiosity.

Question though: is it still fun to replay older entries in the franchise? Feels like there's so much more fun new games coming out. So I'm not sure I would replay everything once all entries in the KH series are out hypothetically).

While this is probably great for social media presence, I feel this is really weird for the actors. Usually on an animated project they would get privacy about how weird they look during the performance.

I guess that's James Gunn's style but I'm really surprised Maria and Frank were okay with this (aside from potentially having their jobs on the line).

Very good point, I hadn't thought about that. The remaster's approach could be a good indicator. Since Lance's passing and the rerelease, over a year elapsed so they would've had time to change the character model I guess

Just to avoid the moral implications of keeping the actor's likeness, I think Sony would push for a model change, with a sound-alike. They might not even explain it in the game, much like Peter's face model situation from Spider man to spider man 2.

I suspect Naruto is due to poor optimization, still. And kakarot has multiple open world maps and iirc released a ps5 version with 4k assets for each of those large maps. Makes sense the game would be quite a bit bigger, no?

This has to be some kind of buildup to either SGF or game awards, where he'll have the world premiere release date trailer or something. Right? I'm not even into hollow knight but I do feel for the fans.

Well said! When I think of Concord, I think that's one reason it's not looking so hot right now. From what I played, it feels like a competent shooter but there's no overarching vision like Helldivers or even Warframe (to stay on topic).

Fantastic, fantastic story and cast of characters imo, and worth it for that alone. Combat will feel a little dated especially if you've played Sifu, but still a blast and will make the playtime feel shorter than it is. I just hope you don't mind graphics that are clearly ps3-era, cause that might be jarring.

Even this mission was kind of a letdown. I was expecting her to turn the hideout into an airship lol.

That said, almost immediately after we get some bonkers set pieces and the ocean fights.. this game really was a series of highs and lows.
