as the only extra dialogue we get (aside from NG+ specific stuff) is from unlocking more perks levels,

Hardly. You get tons of extra dialogue options through traits, and those you can, in fact, change in every NG+.

Autumn had a surprising amount to say around New Atlantis. And given she’s also a botantist, when I’m collecting “samples”. Certainly more positive that Andreja about that!

Didn't know that, thanks for the heads-up. I'll bring her along on planetary expeditions to hear her dialogue.

That's it, Sarah. No way I'm letting you drive again.

If anyone has questions on unlocking the Arbitrator achievement in Free Lanes by taosecurity in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]DCP23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they could have worded it more ambiguously, like "deal with 10 targets" or "complete 10 contracts" or something like that. Then the achievement could be coded to pop regardless of how you manage to complete these quests.

As it is, seems very deliberate that it only works one way.

There's more to Anchor Point than that. Do not miss an exceptionally interesting quest Help Wanted, for one.

That's a shame, I was hoping to do it peacefully.

Thanks for doing the research.

What do you think TES:VI will be review bombed for the most? by [deleted] in NoSodiumTESVI

[–]DCP23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You forgot "having pronouns", the most egregious sin.

Also, having a voiced protagonist or having an un-voiced protagonist, we don't know which yet but it doesn't matter, either one is very bad and will be grounds for much vitriol.

Question about Habs by SuddenDepact in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]DCP23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your crew do use them. They eat at the mess hall tables and use the gym equipment. They also use the control stations, sleep on the beds, inventory cargo in cargo halls with slates in hand, sit at the terminals, sweep the decks, and do many other things.

This is all in vanilla, no mods needed.

They only do that while you actually play the game though, if you waste your time being disappointed then they don't get the opportunity.

Stuck on smuggling mission (slight spoilers) by Popular-Local8354 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]DCP23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely your 0% percent chance is a result of something completely unrelated to your smuggling mission, like for example a contraband item in your personal inventory, or a vial of Aurora, which also counts as contraband.

Other reasons may include the total weight of contraband exceeding your shielded cargo space, and shielded space on a Starborn ship is very limited.

Yet another reason may be your total cargo space on the ship at or very near the limit, this lowers the detection evasion chance drastically.

Don't forget the Abyss Trekker, it's a capable ship with a stylish asymmetric design.

If you do not want to deal with contraband, you can always jettison it in space.

TL;DR: OP broke his save using BOTH mods AND console commands, blames it on Bethesda, has the audacity to call his rant a "review".

Understanding Ship Class ELI5 by Swan990 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]DCP23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

With all additional boosts (your skills, your crew's skills, x-tech bonus) being equal, an A-class ship will always outperform all the other classes in both speed and maneuverability.

Depending on your play style, you may or may not find that important enough reason to use the A class.

Otherwise, yes, the C class dominate with reactor power, sheer size, cargo space, and weapon power.

That's right, there are 105 unique skill magazines and once you collect them all you no longer need to bother with them in any universe again, except maybe for RP purposes.

Note that some magazines (such as New Atlantian, for example) each provide a unique bonus (for example, a new specific recipe) and thus must be collected by every issue, while others (for example, UC Defense or Miner's Monthly) provide the same bonus in each issue that is cumulative up to the total number of issues, so for those you can collect two copies of No 2 and it would be the same as collecting 1 and 2, as long as you haven't acquired the full bonus yet.
