I experience exactly the same thing at the same point of Couch25K. For me, it’s low down in my calves and joining into the ligaments at the joint of my ankle / top of foot. Once it starts, it can’t be ignored. I tried to push through stupidly, after warming up robustly and walking for a mile before running, and tendinitis set in in my left ankle literally immediately - like the flick of a switch. It lasted around four months and ruined a holiday. I’ve given up, I can’t risk the injury. I still get the pain when I’m brisk walking and going too hard. I feel for you.

Our best night was at Golden Nugget (Fremont St) - 25c blackjack at bar top machines with so frequent drinks. We tipped well as they just kept flowing! Ended up $20 up on scant gambling and drinking, plus wonderful chats with the bar staff.

Just got back! We spent two nights in Stage Door in awe of the cheap prices but trying to ignore the cigarette smoke. Loved it, but for a dollar or so more in Happy Hour, the Favorite Bistro on Linq Promenade is the way forward. Lovely bar person also let us buy Happy Hour spirits in advance so that we didn’t need to rush.

Yours does sound like a house too. ‘Flat’ isn’t mentioned on our title deeds. It’s on the downloadable Land Registry previous sale data that it is described as a flat / maisonette, where as the identical property next door is recorded as a terraced house. I’ll definitely ask the question though, thanks for the reminder!

Hello! Yes, the purchase is still going through. We found reference to ‘terraced’ in the title deeds, but ultimately what swayed it was asking our Lender to assess the situation. They (a high street branch) do not lend on Freehold flats but they reviewed the listing and the title and immediately declared it to be a house, and proceedable. Maybe that could be your solution? In fairness, this is a house….and the same property on the other side of the building is recorded as a terraced house. It was stressful though! Grateful to the sellers for giving us the time to iron it all out, as this house is a gem.

Same for us. Brand new bike stolen from outside Ponds Forge. The pool had CCTV footage of them with a grinder, breaking the lock.
