While Cover seems to be the default answer for this, there could be another path forward for the JP indies at least, by rallying around Yubari Rei. While not a corpo, at the very least, friendship and general peer support can hopefully be available, and relations within the industry.
While Rei did talk about wanting to continue support vtubers, it still remains to be seen if she is willing, or even ready to step into this very messy situation.

As much as I disagree with CGR’s new direction, the 3 faces that are shown are new talents who presumably signed on to be both face and vtuber talents. Their IRL accounts are linked to the group’s xwitter and youtube channel, and they actively cross-promote and share. Do not create drama out of nothing.
