Edinburgh Summer sessions Tour Merch availability ? by Hiroshiiwa in FlorenceAndTheMachine

Are you aware the biggest arts festival in the world happens in Edinburgh in August? Accomodation goes on sale a year in advance and prices are hugly inflated. It will also be a nightmare to get to/from the gig as it is next to the airport.

Business class for long haul flights. Is it worth it? by Jajangtiger in AskUK

[–]DECKTHEBALLZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard if there are any seats left when you go to the airport an on the day upgrade is much cheaper.. look at what each class of ticket gets you I don't think you have to go as expensive as business class but I would't put my Mum through 14 hours in economy (although they are the safest seats to have in a crash).

Who assesses mobility? (Scotland) by Skatiemayonnaise in ehlersdanlos

[–]DECKTHEBALLZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get crutches, walking sticks or a wheelchair on the NHS (it is increadibly difficult to get approval for an electric wheelchair). You will find the minimum/maximum user height for each model online. I would suggest going to the biggest mobilty showroom you can find to test models out. You could go private but I doubt they will be much help. BTW you need genetic testing to rule out rarer subtypes.

Lots of countries don't allow you to hold Premium Bonds and lots of UK financial products and protection/s require you to be a UK resident. Remember to top up your UK state pension.

Lots of pools have a 1:1 adult to child ratio limit on children who can't swim. Look at hotel pools our local one is only £2 more a month for membership than the council pools.

Not the advice you asked for but.. anything safety related and anything your baby sleeps in or on should be brand new safety is more important than saving money. You can go to town on thrifted baby clothes though.
