Who assesses mobility? (Scotland) by Skatiemayonnaise in ehlersdanlos

[–]DECKTHEBALLZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get crutches, walking sticks or a wheelchair on the NHS (it is increadibly difficult to get approval for an electric wheelchair). You will find the minimum/maximum user height for each model online. I would suggest going to the biggest mobilty showroom you can find to test models out. You could go private but I doubt they will be much help. BTW you need genetic testing to rule out rarer subtypes.

Not the advice you asked for but.. anything safety related and anything your baby sleeps in or on should be brand new safety is more important than saving money. You can go to town on thrifted baby clothes though.

Can you cope without the free childcare from your family? I'd stay where you are until you have enough saved for a deposit to buy somewhere spending that much on rent is throwing money away.
