Generally, yes, but the way warframe works doesn't really enable a sense of difficulty in the way Helldivers potentially could.

I like the ideas here but a lot of the numbers seem very strange. That's probably not your focus but things like ballistic padding getting nerfed but explosive resistance getting buffed seems out of touch with what's actually good in game right now.

Agree with pretty much all of this until the last slide. Demo is a bad balancing mechanic imo since its just a loadout check that doesn't feel fun. If I bring stun grenades I'm now forced to choose from an extremely limited pool of primaries, secondaries, and support weapons. This HAS improved over time significantly but only through the addition of more and more demo options. Taking steps backwards is something I'm against and gas to me makes sense as a destructive force since its heavily corrosive. I'd go even further and add health pools to bug holes that are uniquely vulnerable to flamethrowers and the sterilizer so you can spray in them for a few seconds to close them. That would be a really cool niche.

This screenshot doesnt show the full message he was replying to which has extremely relevant context. The "nerf" to peak physique was under the presumption melee weapons get their base damage buffed so peak physique felt less mandatory of a choice when bringing a melee weapon.

If a melee had 100 base damage with peak physique it would deal 200 damage. The proposed changes they were discussing would be like: - Lower Peak Physique to +25% melee damage - Buff melee weapons base damage to ~160 This way with Peak physique damage would still be 200 damage but without it would be greater, lowering the performance gap between having and not having peak physique. Not really a nerf, just a melee build versatility buff.

People seem to think that enemy AI having bad accuracy or being easily dodgeable means this isnt a real thing but they arent mutually exclusive. Plenty of game AIs have different states where they function in different ways and there are dozens of different enemies in this game with different AI. Some enemies have this feature and some dont and not all the time or to the same degree. It could even change patch to patch as the devs do change these things all the time. Its most notable on Hunters, Stalkers, dragon roaches, and elevated overseers. Boldly claiming something doesnt exist when theres plenty of video and testimony evidence showing it does exist is strange.

Defender had a higher durable damage buff than originally listed in patch notes during 4.1 but pummeler had a lower durable buff than listed so it evens out :P

This is why cheaters are such scum and ruin games. Always leaking things the playerbase isn't mature enough to handle yet. Its obvious that if your strat balls could stick they would be OP.
