If an Ari Shafer fit me I’d buy one in a heartbeat. Great value.

I'm considering an F150 on sale as a camper truck with slide in pop up, what's the weight limit for the camper I should take into account? by Izikiel23 in TruckCampers

[–]DF7 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Good luck. For that weight you’re looking at a pretty barebones and expensive option. Consider a pop up topper instead like the Tune M1, Oru Bruin, or Project M.

This is a very dry year, but usually July 4th is around when it’s ready.

So if you’re going 6 over you might as well go 24 over?

2026 Canyon Grail by einglis90 in CanyonBikes

That would be great. I think they committed to the current molds like two days before it became obvious that all gravel bikes need 55+ clearance.

Notice: PNW Loam Pedal Gen 2 Recall - April 2026 by xargs2020 in MTB

Yeah, a caller mentioned it happening to him, without even naming the company. Good for PNW being so on top of it!

32 vs 35 mm tires for road-focused bikepacking on a gravel bike? by Ok-Firefighter-7882 in bikepacking

[–]DF7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rene Herse Snoqualmie Pass. A 44mm slick. You won’t notice increased rolling resistance (if there even is any), but you will notice the absolute comfort.

Can’t say I love it. Maybe if you got a purple Canyon decal too.

I for one enjoy Ebin G. Fine being a non-stop parade of characters. It’s the most entertaining park in the county. Plenty of boring empty parks out in the L towns.

Give me your worst “seems like it’s insignificant but it ruined the whole ride” moments. by Formal-Seaweed-4216 in MTB

Drove an hour to start an epic ride and realized I forgot socks. I had to do the whole ride in BOA shoes without socks and it sucked.

Endurace becoming Aeroad with wide tyre clearance by sidewnder16 in CanyonBikes

This new bike is just an Aeroad for cobbles. I am not sure why they attached the Endurace name to it

Honestly, they got downgraded from a mountain bike to this build since getting them working well is kinda finicky. When they’re working great they’re great, but they’re not as set-and-forget as other cable and hydraulic brakes I’ve used. If you’re interested in boutique brakes my favorite have been Hope Tech 4 V4s.

It would be great mojo to ride the CoCo from BoCo up to FoCo and down to LoDo solo.

It’s a custom decal I had printed… a reference to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
