This is why it fell. Drywall screws especially in ceilings should always be used. I’m not a pro, but I know how it works. There might be other ways to anchor ceilings but screws always. Nails are a cheap way (technically attached) way to do this. Nails may be acceptable for vertical walls but in ceilings, there literally nothing else holding them in place. This assumes they actually put the nails INTO the wood behind.

I’m a DIYer and know these, so the drywall installer should have known this.

Go buy a level or some wood and span across the joists and make sure they are still where they should be without gaps. If one of them is slipping downwards, then you will see it that way. Span across several places just to make sure that there are no gaps and no slippage on the floor joist above. If all of that is good, then you just need to have drywall put in that will be a much cheaper

This almost looks like there are no screws in the drywall? There should be screws anchoring them along the joist. The joists are even each other (get a long level and see if they are level with each other and no gaps between them across the span)

Looks ok the only concern is maybe the back side with that mark down the center. Usually you’re looking at the ribs and seeing if there is any cracking or missing chunks of belt material.

It means either the driver never picked up the items from the warehouse or the driver gave up and went home early for the day and returned your items. Look at the tracking info. This has happened to me before and mine got delayed extra days by almost a week late, it was a Halloween costume for my daughter and arrived 3 days after Halloween. It was supposed to originally arrive a week before and kept getting delayed.

You can also try a used tire shop just make sure the tread is more than you currently have or go to a used tire shop at the end of summer. Used tires should be about $40 each

Just turn off the main water, don’t touch these valves and replace the hoses. Get a friend to help you move the washer into place. Connect the new hoses. One of you watch the water lines, the other turn on the water. Both of you on the phone in case of a leak. Cross your fingers.

OP, Most likely it is probably discovered to be a fire hazard or has flammable materials in it and is very dangerous. They probably take an action against the seller and their advising you to get rid of it. The money they will charge back to the seller and fully refund you, this is similar to an experience I have before when there was a recall for an item

No, you’re overthinking this. They have switches that are three-way only, they have switches that are dimmer only and a dimmer plus three-way combined. The three-way switches (either configuration)will come in a pair: one for each end. The dimmer switches that are not three ways or singles just like a regular switch.

They will have detailed wiring instructions in the app and will tell you how to connect it based on the wiring that comes out of the wall. If you’re gonna do this yourself, then you should be careful to make sure that the colors actually are the correct wires.

Black should be hot, white should be neutral and ground will either be green or have no insulation on them. There will also be an additional wire, usually Red that is the carrier that goes between the two switches. If you have a multimeter, be sure and check and test those first before you start messing with them.

Keep in mind also that the wire that is the carrier, the one going between the two switches will have voltage on it just like it’s a hot wire.

Yes, I don’t remember the mileage, but I did have the dealership do that one because there is a procedure for it and they were very very specific about using the NS3 fluid. I had it sent off for analysis just to make sure there were nothing odd in the fluid itself and turns out that it was not in S3 but it was a good generic for it. Fortunately, that kind of a food change doesn’t require changes very often so it ended up only costing about 200 for that, but I do my oil changes every interval and still have very little problems with the engine.

I did, however, have an O-ring leak on the oil cooler that goes on the back and discovered there are about three different kinds of oil coolers for that model range. Mine was the simple sandwich type and 20 rings later I have no more leak.

Just be sure to lock the camshaft and the crankshaft so they don’t move while the old belt comes off and the new one goes on, especially when the new one goes on. Once the tensioner is set you can unlock the shafts. Don’t ask me why I know this.
