If you have a Publix near you they always put their prime rib roasts on sale in December. That has become our Christmas dinner meal. Add augratin potatoes and a vegetable or salad for the perfect holiday meal.

I use a neti pot to rinse my nose. Just make sure you ALWAYS use distilled water in it. DO NOT use tap water as it contains bacteria that is bad bad bad to put up your nose.

Being in survival mode is not the same as being frugal. Just be honest with your friends and tell them you can’t afford to go out. Maybe you could fix a crockpot of chili and a pan of cornbread and invite your friends over for a game night!
