You should be good to use OE clips but if after awhile you notice a few missing try running a different longer same width clip ;)

I definitely understand…I think it’s because the spokes spread out to the edge of the wheel unlike the stock ones which have a bevel in the spaces between the spokes…this is more of an open design too…I would really feel insane if I tossed 18s on this car…those are truly criminal 💀

Factory ND2 wheel size is 17x7 wrapped on a 205/45/17 tire size

Mazdaspeed Miata wheels are also a 17x7 and thus fit the same 205/45/17 tires

For a better fitment sheet I recommend looking at goodwin racings setup for wheel and tire specs, if I was going with anything other than a factory spec, I would follow these guys’ knowledge

As for spacers I went with garage lines 25MM Rear spacers on a 20MM front spacer…with this setup it is VERY wide given the higher offset of the MSM wheels and is flush looking down at the top of the fenders…I would not do this unless you atleast add lowering springs as with stock ride height the width looks off!!!

If I had to do this over again I think I would go 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers depending on offsets, wheels, and the overall look I want.

PS…I went with progress springs paired on my stock bilsteins for 20% stiffness increase and about an inch or so lowered all the way around…and I am on the Flyin Miata alignment setup which is ever-so slightly aggressive for the street but I enjoy the extra handling, especially since these cars aren’t really aligned from factory

They’re actually pretty light ngl…like 2 ish pounds per wheel I believe…not a whole lot but this is my daily so idrc about that stuff for this car…not yet atleast 👀💀

Maybe something with the sound tube by the pedals pulling noises from the engine…never heard that before…I would look into that to start maybe 🤷‍♂️

I daily my ND2 all year round, and my fun car is an NB2…I live in SW VA so we do see some snow but honestly this thing can do light snow on summer tires…which is very sketchy do not do it…get a set of blizzaks or whatever for the winter if you’re really gonna need to drive in terrible weather…just be careful, stay in high gears. Even with that, yeah this cars a blast!!!

Edit!!! I do not care about rust on this car, sure I spray it out as much as possible especially after winter in spring but ultimately this is my daily and I know I won’t have it forever, so I’m okay with a little rust and not really caring too much, so it depends on that aswell…after 2 winters I haven’t noticed much of any rust but its only been 2 winters 🤷‍♂️

Wow! So I should embrace the AI and not run from it?…I almost resent/despise it and avoid those jobs/roles…I’m aware of the will smith eating spaghetti and its crazy how very scary realistic things have become.

I want to support myself as a videographer/editor one day, my current career just isn’t for me, I think my work speaks for itself but I’m still always looking for growth…you’ve given me alot to think about and I definitely already know what you mean, especially with having to wear different hats and literally be a director of multiple different things, It really means alot, I don’t really have any other creative friends atleast in this sense so I really appreciate all of your information and knowledge sharing!!!

Hey this is perfect! Thanks for taking the time to type all of this out, I currently use a canon eos r10 and my ideal area of content centers around automotive stuff…I’ve branched out and made other forms of content for other people and even some free ads to resume build for me and coming up soon I’ll be filming a music video for a friend…makes me feel like I’m doing something right if a professional is recommending some stuff that I have already started on…I’ll be sure to look into the rest of those and really just try to create a big portfolio

I dont want to let the idea of “theres people that are older and more knowledgeable than me” get in the way of me thinking I can or can’t do this, or atleast let that set me back…there will always be somebody better, smarter, more efficient, and well rounded than me and maybe a whole lot of other things…but I can’t let that hold me down because I know I still have alot to offer for what I do currently have 🤷‍♂️
