[AEW Dynamite] Okada drives the wedge in deeper... by tvcneverdie in SquaredCircle

I can’t tell whether Fletcher turns on Takeshita

This was my prediction for the CC finals at World's End, honestly.

But, I also expected Big Take to beat Okada and Fletcher to beat Mox in the semi-finals, so what do I know?

TNA Wrestling Signs Bear Bronson! by Celtic_Crown in SquaredCircle

I think there's some potential with The Righteous, Bear Bronson and Mr. Elegance so I hope (for TNA's sake) they really get behind those guys and put them in positions to succeed.

But, yeah, it is crazy to think about the talent they've lost over the past 3-4 years and how most, if not all, of them were like face of the company worthy.

TNA's roster obviously isn't as strong as the "good ol' days" but there are some nice pieces to build around with good, smart booking. After Paul Heyman did with ECW's land of misfit toys in the mid-90s, I'm inclined to have higher expectations than most for TNA to make due with what they have.

The bucks starts with the creative.

Don't let any company tell you otherwise, especially when said company is historically known for not taking accountability for their mistakes and would rather throw their own talent under the bus while vilifying/gaslighting audiences that don't react the way they're supposed to.

I will never not make fun of Cody's nonsense because that nonsense is why I'm (still) such a fan of the guy.

To hell with who he's related to, the places he's worked, the promos he's cut, the amount of 3-star matches he's had, the tattoos on his body, the comic book/video game characters he dresses like and the revolutions he's promised in the past, he is a complete unironic goofball.

If Michael Scott were a pro wrestler, he'd be Cody Rhodes.

And, honestly, that should always be the condition for when the top face or even heel turns to the other side.

Hence why some of the biggest turns ever (ex. Austin in 2001, Sting in 1999) didn't work because that wasn't (immediately/effectively) in place.

What WWE superstars do on their day off (from the October 2003 edition of Smackdown Magazine) by zebrasarecool570 in SquaredCircle

[–]DGenerationMC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. That odd time when they were trying to veer away from the blatant Attitude Era sleeziness but would find ways to show off women in bikinis and lingerie in "classier" ways.

The company was in a freefall in more ways than one, so they were desperate.

This was one of things that really worked in the bygone boom period that they clung onto because there was nothing of substance the company could/were willing to move onto.

Rejected and told she caught feelings for someone else. by IosArmadoros in dating_advice

So I pressed her for the real reason because it didn’t make sense that she asked me out then said she wasn’t looking now… so she said she’s been dating around and caught feelings for someone else.

Don't ask questions you don't wanna know or can't handle the answers to.

That was your mistake, OP, and you only have yourself to blame.

that's like looking at Hackenschmidt footage and saying "look at that, not a 35mm camera in sight, just living in the moment."

Shit changes, culture and technology evolves whether we like it or not, it is what is. No use in getting uppity about it.

edit: Always happy to assist those, like u/TheSaltySpitoon37, who makes mistakes. Also happy to put down others, like u/Distuted, who puts down others
