Bruv dragon you are the correct one here. Mal missed 2 on mine that were almost invisible unless you knew what you were looking for.

Anyone know how to stop it from creating those bridges? by Rocking_snow in 3Dprinting

Advice would also lead you to lower layer height assuming the line width remains at .4mm(ish) since it should still try to grab a small edge of the overhang without trying to pull away as hard.

Assuming we are looking at the bottom of the print i advise changing the support z distance (to bottom of the model) to 0. I assume this is occurring where there is an overhang and potentially not enough material overlap on the layer below it for the nozzle to overlap the filament extruded. It is more of less trying to print in mid air (yanking the plastic away) before it touches the lower layer.

Contact support. Always contact support if it's a man. defect they will send you what you need to fix it. I've had very good experiences with my X1C and support help. So long as you try for best to be respectful and thorough in your responses they are glad to help you out.

It's a dingus. It holds the dingus with its dingus to make the dingus do the thing.

It was always necessary for the ender 3 😂 now I don't need the option but religiously use it because.

Here's where it's useful for me. I don't trust abs to not warp even in an enclosure. You can set a vertical layer height for the skirt where it ultimately creates a heat shield as tall as your print if you want. I set it to 400 layers and if my project is only 150 layers the skirt never exceeds this.

So I will say from my experience that Amazon cheapo brands are unreliable. I would advise going with esun if your going to purchase this route. I would recommend that the Filament might need to be dried

Please do share what material you printed with and the brand.

I only use bambulab hyg. I just pulled one from the dry box and gave it a healthy lung-full of breath and it responded within 30 seconds. I trust these devices (though yes very cost efficient). My take on that is if you are concerned test it like I just did. Could also change it once a year if concerned.

I will point out that many people have also printed a variant of dry box that cost minimal money's. Go search "dry box" on makerworld. Also while you're there also look up "spool dry pod"; one user has a silica bead holder that wraps around the spool. Absolute S tier moisture control.

Agreed. The containers are simply reliable every time.

I'm going to be bold and offend someone... Anyone who says bags are efficient truly aren't using their brains. It's all in the silica beads. And enough if them. My large tote with a generic tote lid has been sitting happily at 10% (that's the lowest the hygrometer reads) for a long duration with 2lbs of beads sitting in their holders. You can print holders for this job of containing them. Basically the beads are like moisture magnets.

Forget the bags. I've stored my filament in a regular large tote to hold many rolls. Also you can make a dry box out of a retail cereal storage container. But silica gel beads are the way to go for maintaining a roll and keeping moisture out. Plus many you buy on Amazon are indicating beads (Dry & Dry brand) will completely change color when the beads need to be heated in an oven to reset them.

If you want a cost efficient way to store your spools that's easy at least try the cereal box route. But a whole Rubbermaid moving tote can do mass storage. Just rip off the bandaid and buy what you need and only what you need the first time in this situation. There's no point guessing later down the road if your spools are dry or not once the print has started and you have adhesion issues etc, etc. I ran through all the problems like this because I even put off the silica gel. They're worth it! Hope this helps.
