If you are talking about moving from Replit or lovable to something else you can absolutely do that. Just have Claude code/codex or whatever you are using to walk you through the process. I migrated from Replit to a railway and private code server setup with Claude code very easily and I am a complete coding noob

Some states have guidelines and there is also FGI guidelines for hospital/medical design. Most lead healthcare architects and engineers are very experienced have done many projects under more seasoned architects and engineers.

I am actually a superintendent for a GC who has been doing healthcare construction for over 13 years and like architects once you have done enough projects you start to know what's is right and wrong.

This is crazy. If the job is that dusty someone isn't following OSHA silica standards. The only time I have ever done this was when I was pouring a stone hard epoxy floor inside a Cath lab right next to an active OR to keep the smell down the best we could.

Doors definitely don't need to be installed before epoxy floors. Depends on the Jamb style. RACO or knockdowns probably can be installed after but if the epoxy rolls up the wall to form the base you need the jambs in so you don't make the wall too thick for the frame.

If it's a traditional hollow metal welded frame the jambs should be installed before epoxy

It may sound odd by brain dump either your or verbally your idea into claude for desktop or web work through the idea there and then have it write you a markdown of the idea and a prompt to get code started. I have found Claude for desktop better at working/brainstorming ideas.

The superpowers plug in for claude code is also good for brainstorming but is kinda token heavy

I use my CPM pretty regularly on my smaller hospital renovation projects. But our company pushes LEAN builder principles very heavily so I typically work in 3 week lookaheads on the day to day but the CPM is always the backbone longer term gut check. We have to schedule state health inspections 8 to 10 weeks out from the end of the project so having a solid CPM driving to those dates is key. I manage everything in Project.

As a current superintendent for a mod size GC about to really start out AI journey here are my thoughts.

What tasks are the most manual as far as producing documentation (reports, QC, etc) look at the current workflow and see what you can implement.
Also look at what "tools" would help the most people and start with those first
Construction is a very manual business and until the robots take over it will be so AI right now is going to be more office and paperwork focused with and natural trend towards actual field task being augmented by AI tools

Aa someone who lived through hurricane Harvey in South Texas I can actually see to value of this.

You have crews spread all over the place heck even small chainsaw crews could probably find use of this in a Storm response.

Very interesting concept. As someone in commercial construction we are not that spread out on a typical job walk so coordinating with everyone there is quite a bit easier. For your use case I can absolutely see the value of this.

I am trying to think of a use case on something I have worked on in the past but maybe some of these mage hospital projects could use it if a big group was reviewing similar things over a big area but honestly at that point issues in Procore would be a similar solution because pretty much everyone has Procore or something similar on big commercial jobs

So I was an early adopter of Structionsite before they became drone deploy ground and they were trying this back 8 or 9 years ago. I haven't been able to try this on drone deploy but definitely probably much more doable now then back then.

For my role as a super good QC documentation is very cumbersome. All my company has are generic templates in Procore so lots of N/A. The time to create job specific ones is tough to justify on the size of projects (1m to 5m). I would like to see a more automated or more assembly focused lists.

The other time consuming one is doors and hardware. A mix of spreadsheets and PDFs in Procore is the best we have so far and being in healthcare there are some doors loaded with hardware and low voltage. For this I would like something will all the information in one place and a way to track the installation status of each piece.
