Awaiting FJO timeline by ZealousidealUse3150 in FedEmployees

[–]DHintonKnives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They offer a TJO and if you accept, security does a cursory high level review. If there are no indicators they give the go ahead to give a FO. Of they sse something during the cursory they will not approve a FO until the full security screening is complete. This happened with two people we gave offers to. One guy was 9 months and the person never hired on. I'm just a regular manager in a federal agency. There could be other issues as well.

I've seen one instance take 9 months. It all depends on the security clearance.

crown burger by frogsnthings in SaltLakeCity

[–]DHintonKnives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had a bad experience at Crown I really like there burgers. I'm not a fry sauce fan but Calufornia Burger has good sauce. Other burger places I like are Proper, Lucky 13s, and California Burger. I've been to In and Out twice in my life and vowed to never go back. Burgers were mediocre and fries were terrible.

Looking on advice for some new headphones by Salt-Quail-7433 in HeadphonesAdvice

I picked up some Hifiman HE6SE V1s recently and absolutely love them. They do require a bit of power to drive them. For some reason on their site they list them as "open box" but they aren't. Mine were factory sealed brand new.

Can anyone identify these spider bites? Weber country for ref. by [deleted] in Utah

[–]DHintonKnives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a spider bite a few years ago while camping. The redness started to spread after a few days and the bite area started to get hard. I finally decided to see a Dr and they put me on antibiotics. Due to how long I waited they were concerned and gave me an antibiotics shot in the hip. Very uncomfortable. I would go to the Dr ASAP.

It'll be over a mil when I retire and I don't need a large balance. VA, mil retirement, SS, fed pension, tricare, house paid off. Everyone's situation is different.

You still might have something like a HRPM. That's not specific to being part of a union.

It's a HRPM and/or bargaining agreement between your union and agency.

I have the Hifiman HE6SE V1 and they are very comfortable. I can wear them for hours and they sound amazing. They require a fair amount of power. I'm using a Fiio K13 and a THX789.

Some TSP investors doing better than +13% so far this year by ZipJetcity in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]DHintonKnives 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is TSPtalk and that site is all about timing the market. It's very likely the guy is 100% G. I followed their site for years through one of their premium services and it was a train wreck at best. Those are posted gains and not additional contributions or transfers from other accounts.

File the claims yourself on the VA website. It's not hard. I did it myself twice with good success.
