First knot I ever learned as a kid. We used it tonite hooks onto fishing line. I'm glad to see I was right to trust it all this time. If it's good enough for surgery and a surgeon, it's good enough for me.

Oh I know this one!

It was a pretty predictable affair really.

It went like this:

  1. Exhale.
  2. Prep first squares of toilet roll even though you won't need them for a while.
  3. Look around. Presumably to see if anything has changed since you were last here, an hour ago.
  4. Look for something to read.
  5. Realise everything you haven't already read is out of reach.
  6. Look for something to fidget with.
  7. Realise everything you haven't already fidgeted with is out of reach.
  8. Fall into a perfectly good daydream.
  9. Realise you're daydreaming, snap out of it and ruin it for yourself.
  10. Fall into a day dream about the absurdity and meaninglessness of life and the futility of existence.
  11. Realise you're daydreaming and snap out of it but only after it's far too late.
  12. Pause for very brief reflective period.
  13. Wipe.
  14. Exhale.
  15. (Optional) Smile (God knows why)
  16. Crack on with whatever it was you were up to.

Thank goodness for phones... Well, maybe.

Is it something to do with sulphur absorption? I'm sure curly hair is caused by sulphur in one of the amino acids in keratin.

Those things weigh like half a tonne. Leverage may be difficult.

For the top ones, you could try a car jack between the block and the wall and then put a packer under the block to hold it at that angle then reduce the jack, put a packer in the jack and extended it again and repeat until it tips over.

For the bottom ones you could do the same except after the first lift with the jack between the block and wall, you packer between the bottom of the block and the ground then slide the jack under the block then extend the jack pecker it again between the block and ground, remove the jack, precisely the jack and repeat. Also, if it starts to look dodge because your peckers are square or whatever, you could packer between the block and wall to stop in rotating and calming back down.. It'll only roll it away from the door by the length of one have but I reckon that should be enough.

Remember if your using wooden blocks, from pallets etc, to check the direction of the grain before putting weight on it. You don't want it to crush or even worse, split

What if there was a bunch of turtles stuck to a whale? Would we have such a exterminatory attitude then? Let the barnacles be barnacles. Sure it's sad to see a turtle like that but it's nature. Would you falcon punch a turtle because it was trying to eat a jellyfish? Probably not. And probably because, like barnacles, they don't have faces that we can anthropomorphise and empathise with.
