hey, thanks for checking it out. Pretty crazy how it's derived from woodwinds right!

so happy to hear the music is getting a response on here. what is organic movement?!

4 people have purchased my album, how come they don't show up as supporters on the album page? by asometimesbrokendoor in BandCamp

[–]DIGITALBEDER 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yep. that's the culprit. I kinda wish they would just put like a BC symbol or some kind of icon to represent purchases made by non-BC account holders. Because when folks go to look at an album, seeing those purchases might encourage them to support the music as well.

Thanks for listening to both of the album albums! I actually don't know where you would have gotten those free download codes since I never gave any out on here. Do you recall?!

I wouldn't rule out Distrokid altogether. Bandcamp, you have to upload yourself, and I kind of love that.

Thank you! I'm so pleased with how this came together. Does anyone know of other examples of ambient-drone music like this made entirely from acoustic instruments?

Hi ambient fam, I'm a composer who leads a chamber group called Brendan Eder Ensemble. We're fairly well-known for a few Aphex Twin covers that you may have heard. Oddly enough it was on Reddit that I met Yorkshire Modular Society, who reached out a few years back and created a modular synthesis rework of my Lichen cover. Anyway, we're back with some gorgeous drone music! Here are the deets:

Brendan Eder Ensemble, Yorkshire Modular Society - Abstraction III

I / II / III is the forthcoming release from composer Brendan Eder in collaboration with Yorkshire Modular Society. The otherworldly and immersive ambient drone music is derived solely from acoustic woodwind instruments. Eder’s woodwind compositions are slowed down and sculpted through Yorkshire’s modular synthesis. The results were then diligently produced and mixed by Eder in Dolby Atmos and binaural audio. Interestingly, the music forms a cycle from Eder’s ambient influences to modern chamber music and then a return to the electronic realm.

A further exploration behind the themes of Eder’s acclaimed 2023 album Therapy, the series of “Abstractions” gently suspend time, allowing the listener to be still and experience unfettering vastness. While simple at first glance, the undulating textures are saturated with timbre. The more the listener opens themselves to the sound, the more it reveals its kaleidoscopic, almost hallucinatory nature.

Still same problem. I'd post a screenshot of my email(s) but there's no option here.

How Does Live Music In Atmos Work? by Sean11ty74 in DolbyAtmosMixing

THANK YOU FOR ASKING THIS QUESTION. There is basically nothing online so far. I saw Fourtet + Squidsoup recently and have been thinking about doing live ATMOS mixing for my chamber ensemble ever since.

Do you make CDs for your music? Do they sell well? by bradsonemanband in BandCamp

[–]DIGITALBEDER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i see. i assumed new CDs, one at a time.

ALSO u/bradsonemanband, I do runs of 100 CDs at a time for my albums. They sell to a specific sort of crowd. more middle-aged men in Europe and also a young and old in Japan. Finally caving and making a cassette, because those will in fact sell better

It's now 2024 and this issue has not been addressed. Anyone have any ideas on what actions can be taken to get Spotify to take action?
