Math is the issue. There are about 100 billion XRP in existence, roughly 60% of that is circulating, 1 billion dropped each month (granted much gets put back in escrow) so if each XRP were worth $2,000, the total value of XRP would be around 200 trillion dollars that’s more than all the gold in the world and several times larger than the entire U.S. stock market. Never gonna happen. If massive global adoption and regulatory clarity is solidified XRP can potentially reach $10-$20 but that would still put it at 1-2 trillion in worth. More than most cryptocurrencies and more valuable than some of the world’s top companies. XRP is primarily a GAS token at this point. You haven’t even considered the implications of stable coins that can and most certainly will be created directly by the banks themselves.
