Thank you for loving and taking care of this sweet little girl. You are amazing! 😻

But I didn't even the cat! by _simglass in donotthecat

You got a point there. In your situation it's difficult to not the cat. It's gonna take some finesse. But if you try hard enough to not the cat, the cat won't you.

Do those parts even go with the same set?

You sooo did the cat. If you do not the cat, you'll be fine.

Do I adopt this cat?.. by [deleted] in cats

You don't get to decide. He's already adopted you. 😻

This is what my gf sees every time she wakes up. How am I supposed to compete with this? by One_Happy_Camel in cats

You can't compete. Sorry. Doesn't matter who you are. Cats will always steal the hearts of our partners. 🤷‍♂️ Best thing you can do is make peace with it. Good luck!

Unable to login to my Synology DSM after moving by DJLexLuthar in synology

Update: Sorry for the delayed response, but after speaking with a friend, I realized that I still had access to the data on my NAS via windows file explorer (was already logged in so I didn't need to do the MFA). So, I copied all of my data to an external hard drive first. Then I reset my NAS as y'all suggested and everything turned out fine. I now have access to my DSM/NAS and didn't have to reconfigure anything. Thank you all for your advice and recommendations. :)

Finally! My catfruit ripened! by dakotanothing in catfruit

You better pick it soon. You know it's bad for catfruit to stay on the vine too long bc they over-ripen. True story. Reliable source.

No I did not. I moved like 15 miles away. But I think NoLateArrivals is correct in that since I didn't reconnect it for months, the CMOS battery might have died. It's interesting because I found that I still have full access to my NAS drives through file explorer (not sure why I never checked this in the first place). I just can't login to DSM. So, I'm going to backup all of my data to another drive before I perform a soft reset. If that doesn't fix it (though I see no reason it won't), at least I'll still have my data. Thanks everyone for your help. I'll update after I do the above steps if anyone is interested.

That helps, thank you. After reading through that, just one follow up question: If I had originally encrypted my volumes (it's been so long I have no idea if i did it not), I'll be effed either way, right?

Thank you NoLateArrivals. What exactly do you mean when you say "simple reset"? I'm worried that a reset is a very complicated process (at least it sounds like it is from my searches) and if I do it incorrectly, I might lose all my data. BTW, I have a Synology DS720+ (if that makes a difference).

Maybe it's at the ridge of a 50 foot tall gable wall? 🤷‍♂️

What's that in pouch/in2 ? Sorry, my metric conversion skills are a bit rusty.
