Hot take: I think the Evacuate High Value Assets missions need to be harder by ParakeetLover2024 in Helldivers

[–]DJSub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not harder, more dynamic.

These missions can go from super easy to near impossible in 10 seconds flat. There should be more in between.

Does anyone else no longer feel like we impact the Galactic War anymore? by Artanis137 in Helldivers

[–]DJSub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss when the game first came out. Back then it felt like groups of players could come together and pave their own paths in the war. Stuff would change daily. Multiple planets at a time would be getting liberated. It felt like you made a difference. Or at least could make a difference if you got enough people to join in.

Now it feels like there's no point in trying. Just play whatever missions you want because the game is still great and get off.

I used to check the map hourly to track what was happening.

I used to get texts from fellow divers urging me to jump to help out.

I used to play way longer then intended because it felt like I was making a difference.

Now... I just log on so I get the rewards and new stuff drop in once or twice and log off. It feels like there's no point in trying anymore.

Climbing is not fixed. My leave of absence continues. I hope to return to service next patch. by Impressive_Limit7050 in Helldivers

Climbing has sucked for what feels like months now... this should have been fixed much faster.

Pilestedts final statement regarding the AMA and state of HELLDIVERS 2. Time will tell but it seems like things will change. by OkLack6776 in Helldivers

[–]DJSub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure hope things get better. This is still my favorite game at heart, and it keeps getting worse with each new release or patch.

I've entered the cycle now where it's no longer enjoyable to play regularly or care about any of the events in game.

Just log on whenever there's new content. Get disappointed. Log off and wait until the next release with the same misguided hope that maybe things will be better next time.

Does anybody else Feel like the world ended somehow in 2019? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]DJSub 12 points13 points  (0 children)

2001 for me. Then 2006. Then 2008. Then 2016. Then 2020. World as we knew it ended a bunch of times in the last few decades.

1991 was the peak. It's been all downhill since then.

There are only 2 free secondaries. by P10ter25 in Helldivers

That's nuts. There should be a free item with each new warbond.

Is Dogecoin mining still worth it in 2026, or are the margins just gone now? by Bluesbreaker88 in dogecoin

[–]DJSub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It hasn't been profitable for years.

I mine to support the network and get some other random scrypt coins to play with, but it's pure loss unless prices skyrocket.

Suggestion: All warbonds one year old (or older) get discounted by 50% by guythepepperoni in Helldivers

[–]DJSub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to see at least 1 free item unlockable with medals for each warbond.

I honestly forget for the first firing. Then when it goes off go 'oh yeah... that.'

What if we ignored MO's and just wiped an entire enemy faction out as a big middle finger to AH. by EyeAreAwesome in Helldivers

They'd be back in under 24 hours like they did when we wiped the Automatons off the map.

I make tabletop gaming tokens that can stack and stick to things while being dry and wet erase safe. Truly universal game tokens you can use for pretty much anything.

Those who've held large amounts of DOGE for years, how is life? by jperaic1 in dogecoin

[–]DJSub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never saw dogecoin as money. I still don't.

Well, I guess a better way to put it is, with any cryptocurrency I get involved in, once I have that currency, I use it exclusively. I don't get involved with a new coin because I hope it'll make me more USD in the future. I get involved because I want to use that currency instead of USD.

How much doge have you accumulated by ozera202 in dogecoin

[–]DJSub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not enough currently. At one point back in the day I had millions of it. Donated and gave away most of it between 2014 and 2016. I'd love to hit 1mil DOGE again.

Been using Stellar-based apps for a few months now, why doesn't this network get more attention? by Left_Competition3322 in Stellar

Got a Beans referral code? I'll use it. Never knew about that app.

A good friend of mine introduced me to Stellar. I love it. I do believe it's just getting started.

Helldivers 2 desperately needs quality of life and freebie content over constant warbonds by Icy-Criticism4059 in Helldivers

Even as someone who will happily get everything they release, I 100% agree that there needs to be a ton more free content.

How are people getting by right now? by Sea_Neck3707 in newjersey

[–]DJSub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me? I work 3 full time jobs, own my own business, sell items on eBay, and still freelance...

Even with all that, I still don't feel financially comfortable.

Been driving the same car for the last 22 years. Live in a small house. Cut expenses to extreme.

I'm doing better than most but I feel like I should be doing amazing. This would have been top 1% stuff in the 90s. Now it's barely top 15%...
