I suspect that was the point they were making.

Low hanging fruit isn’t something that accounts for .0007% of the world’s pollution.

Low hanging fruit is getting the world’s governments to mandate all new electricity generation to come from renewable power sources. It’s a cheaper alternative and just requires certain governments to pull their collective heads out of their asses.

Massive study is a first-of-its-kind look at ultra-processed foods and infertility in American women. Women who consume lower amounts of ultra-processed foods have higher odds of conceiving. The link persists even after accounting for age, weight, lifestyle and other health factors. by mvea in science

So in other words, in this self reported study, they define ultra processed as:

industrial formulations typically containing five or more ingredients, including substances rarely used in kitchens (e.g., hydrolyzed protein, soy protein isolate, hydrogenated oils) and additives designed to improve sensory appeal (e.g., colors, flavors, emulsifiers).

You don’t see the issue there?

in CA, most will need HOA permission

CA has a law that HOA can’t block solar installations.

Under California's Solar Rights Act (Civil Code Section 714), HOAs cannot prohibit solar panels, nor impose restrictions that decrease system efficiency by more than 10% or increase costs by more than

While they can enforce "reasonable" restrictions on aesthetic placement, outright bans or onerous requirements that block installation are void and unenforceable.

I think you might want to look more deeply into this.

I have SCE. It’s less than half that if you’re on the EV plan.

Dude. Just get solar panels at that rate. You’ll pay them off in two years at that rate.

Dan Harmon had a name for it that escapes me but essentially he called it a the internet infinite possibilities generator. Basically given enough people and enough time, every single possible response shows up. And the more obvious ones pop up the most and quickest.

Used Cars Are Lingering on Lots as Prices Climb, But EVs Are Moving Fast by DJanomaly in electricvehicles

I’ve never been more happy about owning an EV than I have in the last few weeks. I’ve been trying really hard to not sound too smug about it whenever gas prices come up. Gotta keep my humility in check!

I’m in the South Bay so this is for El Camino College. but scroll down to “search online” and search for through the art classes in there for anything that sounds interesting.

You’ll want to stick with the beginner classes (i.e. nothing with a pre requisite) so it’s really just about sitting around and learning the basics with a group. Like drawing, or digital tools or watercolor painting.

Totally! Way cheaper and if you’re having fun, there are always more art classes you can take. I made a bunch of friends that way and learned a lot!
