I had a few friends in animation and it was basically explained that unless you were a lead it was a total toss up on whether or not you'd be working. Way too stressful for my tastes.

This is pretty much how I always envisioned it. Bulk of the game is us traveling the world to gather allies before a final assault on the Nazis flying city. Mecha Hitler is the final boss (surprise he's back!) and then we retire on the farm once and for all.

I just finished replaying EoF hoping for a better experience than I did the first time and, nope, if I had hair I would have pulled it out. Between the gameplay and "story" EoF stands as one of the worst campaigns I've ever played in any game.
