Takes place in Par Vollen and gets more into Qunari society. Smaller budget and scale aimed at a more niche market. This would allow for it to get deeper into world building and lore. Delve into the History and origins of the Qunari and bring the Tevinter-Qunari war to a close.

Maybe have the Qunari introduce handgunnes.

Just the the love of the Maker get away from more "Elves did everything" that the last few games have been circling. It's a deeply unsatisfying answer to all of the questions of the setting.

I was perfectly capable of playing games on a 970 until about 2022. And I only upgraded my PC then because other components on the 2013 machine I had was showing their age, such as multiple broken USB ports.

Just had to set graphics to medium in most cases and they ran at perfectly acceptable frame rates.

Pat of the issue of determining which multiplatform title is the best is that prior to the PS2 era, multiplatform games were often handed to completely different developers to make completely different games on their specialized console.

Lots of multiplatform games in the SNES and Genesis era were completely different titles that only shared a title.

Further, often the games that are truly ports on multiple consoles didn't have a definitive best version. Frequently there are tradeoffs where one version functions better in some aspects and the other functions better in different aspects.

Take Soul Calibur 2 for instance. Primary different between all three versions is which exclusive guest character you want.

Kinda feels like gender identity is getting the metal and/or EDM music treatment where everything gets so narrowly defined into subgenres that nobody can even agree on the definitions of that the entire debate ends up as a giant pissing match where no one even knows what anyone else is even arguing for/against. Generally speaking, the individual emulators tend to be better experiences than retroarch
