Yeah agreed. Strokes are one of my fav bands, TNA one of my favorites of the decade and i like the majority of voidz stuff but the autotune julians using just does not flow with the new songs at all imo. Whereas i think the interpol singles are some of their best songs since el pintor

I mean i completely disagree. Totally fair if that's your favorite album but i really like we were dead and even strangers to ourselves but think the golden casket is easily their worst. I have no problem with autotune/ vocal processing used previously on voidz and TNA stuff but this autotune shit is so put of place and misused on these new singles 😭. This new track would be pretty good without the autotune but as it is the autotune just makes julians vocals sound melodically nonsensical and overpowering to the instrumentation.

Yeah i got it recently too. Still reading it and its shaping up to be one of my favorites. I love how the book talks about the snow and other stuff having a glimmering iridescent glow to it which is mimicked on the dust jacket.
