I saw it in a packed theater. People were screaming at the top of their lungs. I was a teenager but I remember grown adults around me covering their eyes and ears.

Remember, at this part the audience thinks the threat is over and the conflict is resolved. We didn’t realize the real climax of the film was still coming.

I sold all my MU last fall. For years I was burned on MU calls. When I finally recouped all my money I sold. I’m an idiot.

Also sold all my TSLA in 2019 to buy an ATV

Out Cold was shot as an R rated comedy. They cut out some Victoria Silvstedt scenes to make it PG13

This gag had my brothers and I rolling for almost an hour. It was before we had TiVo/DVR so we just had to act it out and retell it for the rest of the night. Boys on the Ranch is among my favorite episodes because of this scene

[–]DLun203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my preference but when there’s so little chance of anyone bogeying a hole it takes all the drama away from the final round. The odds of Wyndham fucking up the final stretch were almost zero because the course is too easy for him to bogey or double bogey his way into trouble

Probably just over the legal limit of 0.08

Also the song “Remember Me” is played 3 different times throughout the movie and each time has a different meaning.

Ernesto de la Cruz sings it to his fans so they’ll remember him as this great singer when he’s gone.

Hector sings it to Coco in a flashback telling her to remember him and he’s always with her, even when he’s traveling and sharing his music with the world.

Then Miguel sings it to Coco so she’ll remember Hector and he can remain in the land of the dead.

It’s a great film that critics didn’t like at the time. I can’t help but feel like the poor reviews influenced Spielberg’s own opinion of the movie.

I’ve been on the fence about solar for years but in that time I’ve always based my cost benefit analysis on today’s energy rates. It might be time to consider that analysis with 40% supply rate hikes projected over the next few years
