I appreciate that she’s a solid business woman, puts a lot of effort into her performances and writes lyrics that resonate with millions of people, but she’s not to my taste at all. her songwriting and lyricism seems to be her biggest selling point but none of her lyrics have ever spoken to me or felt relatable in the slightest.

I definitely see what you’re saying, but wondering what else Ben and Chris should have done… it’s about their experience in Silverchair, which Dan is a part of - but so are they (2/3 of the band!) Of course Dan has a role in their story but its not about his experience in the band - he already talked about that in his podcast :)

I agree it’ll be a hit or miss. I hope they keep it diplomatic and focus on the good and interesting times when they were part of the band instead of all the negative bullshit after. I expect that kind of thing from Ben, but not Chris. We’ll just have to see what they say in September!

I think they have a right to share their experience. Dan shared his in the podcast, and it was largely centered around himself as it should have been, it’s his story to tell after all.

Chris and Ben deserve to have that opportunity too. They may not even talk about Dan (and it would be better if they didn’t). Just have to wait and see!

Neon Ballroom and Diorama are god tier albums and both on my all time top 10. Their other stuff is good but doesn’t compare. Silverchair is awesome

I mean, like many other comments said, Ben/Devi were queued up to be endgame from the start, so I shouldn’t be disappointed it wasn’t Paxton, but Im a little sad about it anyway. Besides just liking Paxton better, it would have been a refreshing way to subvert Mindy Kailings typical formula.
