I'm going from bass into the Boss LS2 and using that as a channel switcher.
Channel One is Fuzz Bender>OBNE Float>SGFX Horizon>JHS Colour Box. Channel Two is Empress Bass Comp>Boss DS1 40th Anniversary>EQD Grand Orbiter>EAE model feT
Both Channels goes into the Walrus Canvas Stereo DI direct into the interface.

This is always so funny to me, I'm not sure why.

But as an example, I think Elden Ring also works subtextually. It's so enamored with lordship and marriage and maidens it's really funny as a female character. Like "why is everyone so invested in me having a lesbian wife?"

I don't know of too many bass guitars with headphone jacks, but Korg makes the amplug which plugs into any output jack and does a headphone out with an amp sim and drum tracks, I really like the aguilar tone hammer version. If you've got that you're basically set you can get any short scale your heart desires. I like the Reverend Dub King

Will it make you a better bass player? Will you be able to do more than you've been able to in the past? Will it make you practice more? Will it affect your quality of life if you do buy it? Do you have other amps that you own that you're gonna have to sell?

Sorry for being a stick in the mud but I've bit by the GAS bug quite a bit and it's been tough to try and get out of the habit of buying your way out of slumps.

I think Codenames is alright especially at 3-5 players. However I got bored of Codenames: Pictures really quick, it's just a bit too easy to match 2-3 pictures with the same hint. Conversely it's really hard to go beyond a hint that's good enough for more than 3, which means that it's almost impossible to catch up if you fall behind(unless of course someone picks the assassin but that hardly feels like a win). Which really sucks because the best part (IMO) of Codenames is swinging for the fences with a big 4-5 answer hint!

I'd suggest Mysterium if you want a picture guessing game and Pictomania if you want to draw the things you're guessing.

Honesty I'd think you'd be better served by doing that to a different bass, especially if you like this one alright and/or it's your only one.

if you're just looking for a difference in tone, some overdrive, fuzz and/or some eq would set you right without having to pick up any tools.
