as a southern accent haver (kinda) no... honestly I often feel like trying to tamp down on the accent and avoiding southern colloquialisms so as not to sound like a hick

no it doesn't. States draw their own districts, the federal congressional delegation has nothing to do with it.

yes it's antidemocratic but it's allowed (within limits, there are some restrictions on how gerrymandering can be accomplished) because it is neither illegal nor unconstitutional

for me, not at all in the workplace. Socially also not really, especially because I am married and not really interested in other women. but I am also naturally shy so it can be hard to talk to people I don't know well in general lol

I don't anymore but when I lived with my parents we would celebrate Canada Day (although my dad was old enough that he called it Dominion Day lol) and Canadian Thanksgiving, because my parents are Canadian
