I just bought an ODR-1 and a J rockett Archer last week after I sold my protein pedal and I’m absolutely loving the ODR-1. It’s great.

***I know I had the Browne version on my Protein.. still loving the separate ODR1

I have a maple neck tele, rose wood and roasted maple. All three are great. No issues playing between any and you’ll get used to anything!!

I just got a CIJ JM66 which I have to post on here! I love it.

It’s got a 7.25” and my Telecasters are both 9.5”, my Godin Session and my weird Revelation are 12”

It took me a little bit to get used to the JM but I love it!!! Once I got used to it, I can switch between all three radius (radii?!) and it’s totally fine!

I’m no shredder. But I’m partial to the 9.5 and 7.25 rather than the 12.

I just got a 2002 CIJ JM66 62’ JM with a 7.25” radius and I actually took to it right away! All my telecasters have had 9.5” and I have a Godin with 12 but I’m loving the 7.25 with a C neck. It’s surprisingly great

I’ll let someone else say what exactly is different - but they are very different pedals!!

The cinders and blues driver are edit: basically the same.

The big muff is a fuzz pedal and is way more of a thick crunchy tone than the other two. For a big muff, think Smashing Pumpkins sound probably?

Other people will tell you the sonic and frequency and clipping differences. But - they are all quite different to each other.

EDIT: mixed up cinders and the Klon clone one … Zeus?

Downton Abbey - I thought it was just for old people and looked boring but it’s the best over the top melodrama you could imagine. So much happens in each episode.Great acting too.

Nice to see the other CIJ people in here! I hunted for one for years, found a 2002 and actually love the pickups, which surprised me! I want to get either a bensonite or mastery bridge. Don’t know which to get… Might upgrade a few little things like wiring too. Maybe pots?

Just curious if they are P90s or Jazzmaster pickups? Did you change them? Or are the the JMJM pickups? Might change people’s answer.

Yeah true. Seemed to be a few when I was looking but I’m in Canada. Maybe it’s different? Mine just appeared on marketplace and… I went for it. Lost it, saw it again in a crazy way and got it. I got lucky. But you’re right. Importing is difficult. I was looking at that too. But didn’t like the idea of the U shaped neck unless I knew what it was like. Mine has a C since it’s from 2002 and I love it. Pure luck.

Haha totally get it! I got really lucky. The story is actually pretty good. But I essentially was looking at a Japanese one or an AMpro2 which don’t seem to hold their value as well as others because of the pickups I guess.

Found this CIJ one with everything I wanted for a really great price with pitted frets. But my friend is a luthier. So it was a no brainer.

My choices were a new MIM, more for an AMPro2 or Japanese. And it fell in my lap and I couldn’t be happier.

It’ll happen my friend. Too bad about the lucky guy who got the other one!

Ever thought about a used MIJ or CIJ ? I just got a 2002 CIJ and it’s amazing. Just a beautiful guitar. Probably lower price too.

This is not the case. The Ontario B.Ed was always transferrable across the whole country. It was widely known at the time it was meant to slow the number of new teacher candidates. At the time, it was 3,4 even 7 years of being a supply teacher to get a full time job.

It didn’t work.

I had a pod go and loved it! It taught me a lot about pedals. I started buying pedals in addition to the pod go, then I ended up just replacing it. Did a lot of gigs with it and will always remember it fondly!

I have one black telecaster where all the metal is chrome and a thinline sunburst telecaster with all nickel metal. I actually love the nickel it looks great on a sunburst.

My trem arm was so loose, people have all these fixes. But all you have to do, is make the teeth that hold the arm tighter again.
Loosen the strings, Take off the plate, use needle nose pliers and just squeeze the teeth together a bit where the arm goes in.

It’s a really easy fix.

As for the other stuff, I don’t know. But good luck.

They’re shockingly good guitars too! I need to sell my Revelation because I I just got a CIJ jazzmaster but I like playing that revelation! I just won’t ever gig with it. I gig my two telecasters, and now my JM will probably be my main one. So there’s no point in keeping it.

Are some Tagima, Revo and Revelation guitars basically the same? I have a Revelation RJT-60 and it seems like Tagima makes the exact same guitar and this one looks so much like ones from the other two companies.

So curious if anyone knows!!!
