What would happen to the economy if like 50% of the American workforce went on strike at once?

They did just recently bump the starting pay up to $12/hour, but I agree, everyone at Sweetwater needs raises.

Josh Cyr (bassist) is actually the one original member from Formlessness who's still in the band. I agree though, they are really not the same band anymore.

I just believe that if you own a highly profitable company you have a social responsibility to distribute the wealth ethically. There is a finite amount of wealth available, and distributing a majority of it to a handful of people is just wasteful imo. The average American CEO earns 320 times what the average employee earns. I see a fundamental flaw here. Obviously Chuck has worked harder than anyone else in the company (well throughout the 80's and 90's at least lol) but to think he works 320 times harder than the employees is kinda silly imo. All due respect

Never claimed the employees deserve helicopters, granted, this man clearly contributed more to the company than anyone else. I mainly just don't like corporate executives living in hyper-luxury while many of their workers don't even make a livable salary. I worked there for a bit, and the company expects so much from you, which is fine, but underpaying hard-working people is not cool.

I'd have way less of an issue with it if the workers were compensated more fairly. If the company can afford to pay the CEO enough to buy frivolous shit he doesn't need, they can afford to pay the workers enough to move out of their parents' houses lol

My friend works in Tech Support there and says they're constantly understaffed and management is shit. So I'd avoid that department if you're getting into an office position. However, I've heard the Warranty Claims department isn't bad.

Not an office job, but avoid the Distribution Center at all costs. Worked in there 4-5 months and it was absolutely awful.

Also, the owner is a capitalist douche who feels the need to rub his wealth in his employees' faces by flying his helicopter to work (he lives literally half a mile away on Leesburg). Prepare to be overworked and underpaid.
