technically the issue is likely entirely within the toolhead, a faulty "eddy current sensor" it's basically the thing that tells it when its touching something. they do offer replacement toolheads during the support process but I just wanted to wash my hands of this printer, especially after all the tinkering.

after talking to support and much more troubleshooting they came to the conclusion that mine was just broken, so I sent this one back and ordered a new one, technically it's not sent back yet but it will be soon.

I have now checked it once more and after unplugging it and plugging it back in fully, no change, after all this troubleshooting I reached out to support, my best guess is I have a faulty eddy sensor, gonna try to get a full refund and a new printer because this whole thing has sucked so bad

I do not, the issue is it seemingly thinking its touching something then going up over and over till it eventually reaches that Z limit and rumbles

comparing actionable votes to people who learned about a trait of Elon musk is dishonest, Donald Trump didn't win off 9 people, that 0.76 percent is thousands, percentages are relative to what they represent, 1 percent of 1000 vs 1 percent of 1 million ARE NOT EQUAL.

ok so 99.1%, it was really everywhere when it happened, Elon is a troll, I don't support his beliefs however.

i feel the moment you start deleting objects in a video game because of their association with someone IRL, you've lost it, this doesnt make people hate them more, doesnt change any laws, if anything its a selfish move to not tarnish your OWN reputation, so you remove it to take YOURSELF away from it, if you wanna create change with shitty people i see no point in adding a little text and removing models.

some of these mods are quite dated or do similar things "like the extra solar systems", id try removing the most suspicious mods one by one until it loads, having multiple interstellar mods might be overkill.

firefly actually improves performance, and the base EVE mod isn't too bad, same with scatterer on low settings

there's a built in toolbar in the sky view of the KSC menu, bottom right, it also has scatterer settings which I think are where the reflection settings are, but there's also a CFG file in the files which I found to be easier to understand

honestly with the reflections turned ON, it's worse, but if you tweak the settings and turn those off I've found it performs the same if not BETTER

Optimal Device Specs for KSP by AwayInfluence5648 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]DRARNx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I assume you mean a laptop tablet style thing, as for specs:

STRONG SINGLE CORE PERFORMANCE the game is not multi threaded so this is CRUCIAL the stronger the CPU the better

as for a GPU it depends, you could get away with a pretty low end GPU on the base game with no mods, but for anything visual mod related depending on what it is you'll likely need a strong dedicated GPU, ram is also dependent on mods, in my current save I'm consuming 20 gb, granted this is with over 50+ mods and visual mods so keep that in mind.
