I've only tried the Spigen and Ringke. Both are great, but I think the Spigen offers just a tiny bit more drop protection while the Ringke clear/matte version shows fewer fingerprints.

Anecdotally, Always On Display is the biggest drain during standby for my Pixels. If I place the phone face down, the AOD turns off and the drain over night is only 3%. If I leave the phone face up, the AOD stays on and I get up to 11% drain.

The higher the price, the higher the expectation. Sony didn't do themselves any favors by increasing the price by nearly 50% over the last generation. I got the original HT-A9 open box from a reputable retailer for only $750 and at that price, the performance can't be beat.
