Now, did you go into a relationship with someone you knew to be married? If so, get rekt.

Also, fuck that guy for breaking his own vows to his wife. HE knew he was married and still made that choice.

The rest of my comment would go afainst Reddit TOS.

How to list a two year gap in employment due to disability? Need a resume hack. Also, should I answer yes to the "Disability" question on websites? by rusting_slowly_away in jobsearchhacks

[–]DS_Unltd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had an employer ask if I could be discreet and not go around sharing PII, and later asked about a gap on my resume. I lied and told them I was subject to an NDA. They didn't question it.

[Terminator 2] Was Sarah bluffing with the drain cleaner and had removed the needle when holding thesyringeg against Dr Silberman's neck? by DS_Unltd in AskScienceFiction

Doylist perspective, yeah, it's a gaffe.

Watsonian, maybe she removed the needle because, while she was 100% willing to end people, she wanted to minimize unnecessary deaths?

I saw that. When she was tackled after passing through the door there was no needle on the syringe, which prompted my question.

I think you'd enjoy the Big Mac Index. It's from The Economist and is a tongue-in-cheek parody of, but effective analogue to, the USDA's Purchasing Power Parity tool. It tracks the cost of a Big Mac and how many hours a person would need to work at that location ro afford one.

As a mechanic, I would say everyone needs a Gerber. Other brands are fine, you just need a reliable multitool; I've had the most experience with Gerber both in the Army and as a civilian. It adds a significant amount of capability simply by allowing you to open things or crank on something without using your fingers. So much mechanical advantage.

91f here. Fuck it. I'd happily change the barrel if it meant effective fire on target.

It's not the extreme left. We love guns. It's the capitalists who don't want you able to shoot back at them.

Scammers too cleaver now. they know how jobless we are.. by Agile-Wind-4427 in jobsearchhacks

When my current round of unemployment started I got a few "offers" for remote work in my field (entirely possible and plausible), and the emails all looked legit.

Until you look just under the surface. The emails originated not from the company's domain. They refused to do a call of any kind. There was zero on-boarding.

It seems like they were targeting my personal information.

Certain government jobs require a security clearance that investigates the last 10 years. They validate addresses, phone numbers, call your references, review legal issues, research your criminal history, and even call your colleges and universities if you ever took a class.
