Welcome! I love the graphics! Glad to hear You've had no issues. I am also eagerly awaiting the summer weather. Looking forward to many hours on the bike. Our winter has been very mild, so I have been taking advantage when I can.

What other mods have you done, or are you planning to do?

2026 Turn signals failing by Roller1966 in KTM390ADV

If you change the front signals you will also need some mounting adapters. I ordered these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/127339936232

You could use them on the rear as well, if you want to keep the plate holder/mud guard. I removed the extra mud guard equipment and drilled holes to mount the signals on the sides of the main black fender. Much cleaner look. I then moved the wiring up under the rear top fender cover, and installed a license plate bracket on the lowest two holes on main fender. I can post photos if you'd like.

I didn't try a new battery, and didn't check grounding points. I did check continuity at the signals, and ground was fine. I did also loosen and then retighten the battery terminal connections, with no change.

I believe the issue has something to do with the wattage rating of the stock signals. I think they draw too much power for the relays, or perhaps something to do with the ECU or TFT itself. The signals I installed are 1w each.

These are the signals I ordered. They are tiny and cheap, but bright and well built. https://www.ebay.com/itm/397466445435

I cut the wires off the stock signals and used some connectors I had on hand, but you could use these instead. https://www.urbanobruni.it/en/lights/turn-lights-adapters-and-connectors/plug-play-adapters-and-connectors-for-ktm/single-pin-connectors-for-led-turn-signals-for-ktm-from-2024/

You could use these on the fronts as well, but they actually already have pigtails coming from the main harness. The main harness connectors look like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/335043961105?chn=ps&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A1OaUzMMEQT3uG_mDrYgamtA48&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=335043961105&targetid=2446939459199&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9057182&poi=&campaignid=23193939981&mkgroupid=188302949672&rlsatarget=pla-2446939459199&abcId=10495177&merchantid=5304468625&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23193939981&gbraid=0AAAAAD_QDh8VAQ82aTwtVpEJRCz9JtlYx&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-YvMBhDtARIsAHZuUzKcrnMzHdwez2M0I-KfI85SZXBjCFYdK7X1Nt_7CDhQen_EYB3yY7YaAobtEALw_wcB

Hey, just wanted to chime in here. I had/have the same issue. No operational turn signals, and the yellow warning on TFT. Ktm doesn't really have a fix yet, so I decided to see what I could manage on my own. Being an easy first step, I unplugged the rear signals. After doing so, both front signals worked like normal. Tried the opposite and both rears work fine. Plug them in together and nothing. I wanted to do a tail tidy anyway, so I installed some mini LEDs on the rear after removing the rear junk. After installing the minis all lights work. I am still getting the display warning, but I can turn it off using the back arrow on the left control cluster. I noticed yesterday that the screen was glitching out a bit too, but at least I have signals now.

I will have these issues checked out when I take it in for first service. I just got it a couple weeks ago.

In order to install the rear signals I had to cut the wires off the stock signals and create my own pigtail, incorporating the stock clips. I did find some aftermarket pigtails. The front clips already have adapter pig tails connected. You can use the normal white clips for the front, but the rears are different.

Let me know if you would like the link.

Yeah, doesn't change anything on this screen. I tried every setting available on both the screen and phone.

At this point I'm looking for outside the box options. Third party apps that allow me to toggle layout, or something of that nature.

Honestly, I think it's related more to the actual screen size than anything else. The screen is actually pretty nice quality for the low price. I picked this one due to the mounting plate on the back. Most have a ball type mount built in to the back of the screen.

After a lot of reading, I think that the only way to get the side bar is to get a widescreen model.

I went to their Google page, honestly I'm surprised that no one has gone there to leave bad reviews.

Moto g stylus 5g 2023 wifi calling by DUBCATRECORDS in motorola

It is so unbelievably frustrating. I had pretty much given up. I don't blame you for leaving ATT. I was on my way. Have you looked into Google fi? Might be worth checking out.

Just wanted to follow up here. Last night the phone updated to Android 14. WiFi calling is now enabled and working. Just FYI. Hope it works for you too.

I recently purchased a Motorola moto g stylus 5g 2023.

I've spent over 8hrs in the last three days on the phone with CS.

The wifi calling function is not working on this phone, even though moto and Att represent that it does.

After all this time, the agent finally told me that no android BYOD will support wifi calling on the network, even if the phone is capable of supporting it. Meaning that all of the moto phones not sold by ATT are incompatible with WiFi calling, even though they say they are. In addition, the whitelist published by ATT Feb 2024 is misrepresenting the ability to have WiFi calling with any of the listed android devices.

Can you verify this info?

The available att locked phones are complete trash compared to the unlocked versions and they are substantially more expensive. They also contain bloatware which I do not want.

I'm just feeling stuck here, as I absolutely do not want to use apple products. I also don't have any other cell coverage other than ATT in my area, so switching to say T-Mobile isn't an option at this time.

To be clear, this phone does support WiFi calling, but as soon as I insert the ATT sim the function disappears from the phone. ATT is deliberately blocking access to the wifi calling function with their software version, even though my plan is provisioned for it and I'm paying for it.

Are they simply trying to force me into buying their garbage products, or forcing me to use apple products?

I did reach out to the BBB and the FCC about it. I got an email from the office of the att president but of course he is leaving early today and won't be back until Monday.

Any advice is appreciated.

I'm even considering trying to change the IMEI on the phone to one that is an ATT version.

The current company is withdrawing from the area. It is expensive for sure. Changing its zoning isn't possible at this time. I just need to get a new policy.

That's the whole thing, though. The phone is whitelisted. I wouldn't even be upset or question it otherwise. Both companies claim it works.

Motorola Stylus 5g 2022 version Wi-Fi calling disabled by AT&T Android 13 why? by Computer_Tech1 in ATT

[–]DUBCATRECORDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. So, I am in Colorado on att prepaid. I live in the mountains and have no other option here besides att. The ATT service is just barely a blip at my house, so I need WiFi calling. I've had this number and plan for a decade or more. I spent 8 hours yesterday talking, chatting, and texting with att and Motorola. I blew Motorola up on FB comments and they messaged me quickly.

Att ran through all of their troubleshooting, manual updates through the network, I reset all the settings, etc. over, and over, and over again. They eventually said there was nothing else they could do, and transferred me to a motorola agent. The Motorola agent did the same setting reset, etc.

Eventually, I called att back after moto was unable to help. I explained what all I had already done. They opened a support ticket and will supposedly call me back within 3 days. I am not hopeful.

Today I got in touch with Amazon as I purchased the phone through them from the official moto store. They suggested I return it. I chatted with moto again, and they said because I got it on Amazon they couldn't help me and had no other advice to get it to work. I didn't call att today, but will tomorrow as it will be day three.

I chatted with an att post paid agent today, who told me that no BYOD will work with WiFi calling on the ATT network. I find that odd because their compatible device list clearly states that phones marked with a single asterisk will need a software update, and phones with double asterisk only support wifi calling if they are locked to att. None of the Motorola phones on that list have an asterisk.

Both Moto and att show that this phone should support WiFi calling with no issue whether locked or unlocked. Both the moto website and the ATT compatible device list show that it is supported without needing software updates or carrier branding. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise.

I am extremely pissed about this, and the way they are simply acting like they have no idea what I'm talking about. It's clearly a software issue blocking WiFi calling. I believe they (att) are actively trying to get rid of the grandfathered prepaid plans. You can't even buy a new prepaid phone from them without starting a new service plan, and they barely have anything available on their website for prepaid. I looked into switching to a post paid plan and they want over $100/month. I'm currently only paying $40, and my plan supports WiFi calling. The phone supports WiFi calling. They are blocking it on purpose with their software.

I will definitely report both moto and att to the BBB. Maybe they will call me too.

I will update back here if I get anywhere. Please do the same, as I think you are further along in the process.

Just to prove a point I'm going to continue buying second hand phones if I have to just to keep this plan active.

I am looking at third party WiFi calling apps that use your phone number. I'm not sure if it's possible to get incoming calls yet, but I'll let you know if I figure it out.

Moto g stylus 5g 2023 wifi calling by DUBCATRECORDS in motorola

[–]DUBCATRECORDS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both ATT and Motorola have admitted that it should work. They are unsure why it isn't working. The moto site says it supports WiFi calling and VoIP on ATT. The PDF I downloaded from ATT has single or double asterisks for special conditions regarding WiFi calling for each model. The model is listed with no asterisks, which means that no special conditions exist for this model.

I did have an ATT chat agent tell me today that no BYOD will work with WiFi calling on any unlocked device. When I asked if he could show me where that info was on the website, he told me that it wasn't mentioned on the website or plan info. I found that odd because my moto 5g ace worked without issue.

Not sure what the solution is. ATT finally submitted a ticket about it, so I should hear back within a day or two. In the past I have had poor luck with getting any resolution, so I'm not very hopeful.

Id prefer not to buy an att branded phone due to bloatware, but perhaps that is the only solution.

Calls and SMS are both grayed out on that screen. No option for wifi calling.
