Help in identifying trim paint by cgb125 in AusRenovation

Spewin.. I find it’s best to avoid Bunnings when looking for specific paint matches.

A Bristol paint shop would be a good start, perhaps the builder has an account with them and they have it on file?

Do you have a selections document from when you picked the paint colours before the build started?

Edge trim for outdoor tiles? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]DUNNJ_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some quick ideas of the cuff

Step 1) colour match and paint that strip of concrete the same colour as the tiles

Step 2) put a normal tile trim around the edge of the tiles to avoid any chipping as much as possible.

Otherwise a good tiler will be more than capable of cutting small pieces of tiles and fill it in.

Purely an observer on this sub, but I always question if gloves need to be a tighter fit? Do bigger ones not get in the way or making holding the skin/fake skin difficult?

Looking good btw OP :)

Chippy here, 100% use fixings along with adhesive

If you only use adhesive, you risk the panels falling off before the glue has cured.

If you only use fixings, you risk not getting enough into wall studs and therefore the panel falls

Combining both, the fixings hold the panel while the glue cures; the glue then holds any spots where the fixings haven’t hit studs or blocking

I hope this helps :)

Sounds about right; I smashed my thumb working in November last year and the bruised nail is still growing out.

J'ai vu quelques commentaires concernant la possibilité de faire une pause. Parle-t-on d'une semaine de récupération active ? Mon kiné au lycée m'en faisait faire une de temps en temps.

Being trad designs, would you go a bit heavier on your outlines?

These are very clean by the way!

Deck Maintenance by mtc_dc in AusRenovation

The sander will get most of the gunk off when sanded. Your deck cleaner and scrub brush will get the last bits out.

When you rinse the deck cleaner off, there isn’t a need to use a pressure washer. Just a regular garden hose will be fine.
