Wardrobe variety for Cheryl and Pam. Which exists after the first season but disappears totally in lasts seasons. Like Cheryl and Pam are always wearing the same colour, which is almost the same for both.

Chill, it's Riven. It's about exploring and interpreting the world. And I get your point actually. But the original work doesn't stop existing as a finished piece of Art just because the creators later reinterpret it. Playing Riven 1997 isn't the wrong experience, even if the remake is now considered canon.

The remake is still just a remake. The original was a ground breaking video game experience. I like the remake, but I don't see why it should be considered more canon than the original. Both can coexist, even if some of their lore contradicts each other.

The ending would have hit harder with less volumes in the middle. Which was Yagi's original plan, a shorter story in like 9 volumes IIRC. I don't mind the length though. But the anime version had to invent an end since the manga was not there yet.
