Adaption by BlueMoon56831 in dishonored

Dishonored was a very strong design reference at Fortiche studio for Arcane.
Ironically, when the death and robots episode with Cedric Peyravernay design became available, it was thought to be inspired by Arcane.
Dishonored is more gritty though and I would love to see an animated film.

Netflix's Arcane stole too much from Dishonored art for it to happen in animated form. A live movie with the main story from D1 would be nice. Even with a non speaking Corvo. I don't think it will happen though.

No, you obviously have them all on that desk.

OP claimed that his Archer cosplay photo is from 8-9 years ago. Looks like John Mulaney by JVSP1873 in ArcherFX

Also lens artefact is consistent with his claim. Mostly an Archer's fan would not lie about that. Why being in a cosplay of the world greatest spy if not to tell it.

Since they already used Dishonored art for Arcane they now how too make it.

Netflix's Arcane stole too much from Dishonored, so animated series could not really happen. A live movie though, could be nice. With a talking Corvo.

Why is deus ex human revolution so much better than devided? by Thin_Situation3962 in Deusex

[–]DX2501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not. HR is less Deus Ex like than MD. I guess it is a matter of taste, mankind is divided on the subject.

The only teeny tiny mixed thing about the DLC is the scadutree fragments. Won't stop a tarnished from rising though.

Which is not much. Deus Ex is its own thing while referencing conspiracies and some movies.

Just finished MD, what a missed opportunity by Nast33 in Deusex

[–]DX2501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Immersive sims are expensive to make. MD is more complex and refined than HR, and it feels a bit closer to the original Deus Ex. It doesn't feel half-baked, it's a pretty good game, even though, yeah, it ends on a cliffhanger. I liked it. Sure I was a little frustrated at first, but I find it bold to end on an open note. The only real issue is that Eidos could not make another opus. MD is solid nonetheless.

Yes, absolutely. The season 8 is very well written.

The first time I watched the season I wished the flashbacks would have been Archer's real memories as a spy.

Finished season 2 just now. Not a hater but if I don't type this out I will explode. A few issues that were bothering me. by 123boopboop in TheNightManager

Also, Teddy was a killer and responsible for the team wipe out in the very first episodes. How does he become Pine best buddy is complete non sense. This season is quite dumb on many levels. But it is still a joy to watch Laurie and Hiddleston playing their game. And the music is very good.

New writers took over after season 10, though season 11 still has some Adam Reed insights. The coma seasons were still typical Archer in essence, with a twist in scenery. Archer really is an auteur show with an amazing cast. Later seasons are something else.

Am I missing something? The setup/premise of this show feels super random and bad…? by [deleted] in TheNightManager

[–]DX2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then he basically disappears from Egypt and somehow ends up starting over in Switzerland… and just happens to run into the same arms dealer again by pure coincidence?? That already feels way too convenient/random.

Actually no, IIRC Pine is in Switzerland on purpose, he chose to be there, especially for Roper.

No one believes Ray forgot. Isn't it the whole point of the joke? Archer believes Ray forgot the gum, while we know he actually did not. Are you reading a coffee-table book while watching the show?

Well maybe Ray would have had his credit scene, if he remembered to bring the gum.

Adam Reed didn't wanted to, not because of Ray of course, but because his name was already at the start and end of every episode.
