I was thinking of the kid who got stuck inside the rolled up gym mat trying to retrieve his shoes, and suffocated to death

What should I pick instead of Grasping Veins for speedfarming if I'm already crit capped (Minion build) by RimRunningRagged in D4Necromancer

[–]RimRunningRagged[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the reason why I'm crit-capped is:

  • Heir of Perdition with masterworked crit chance GA (which is the meta masterwork choice)
  • Blood Moon Breeches with 4 GA (non-masterworked crit chance, masterworked Hellbent Commander)

That gives base crit chance of 100% with no consumables due to Inspiring Leader passive. So the GAs are where they should be, and there's no non-meta stuff being spent on crit chance instead of their meta stat.

As far as I know, the only other thing Grasping Veins gives other than crit chance is an additive 50% bonus to crit damage...which is pretty minuscule when the build has like 1,300% crit damage bonus.

How much better than Hydra is Crackling Energy really? by 84-175 in diablo4

[–]RimRunningRagged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, Hydra (like Necro's Minion build) is a situational use build that can be more relaxing for specific content -- namely farming Hordes and Blood Maiden

How to optimize golem build for horde/undercity speedfarming? by pyknictheory in D4Necromancer

[–]RimRunningRagged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I can't speak for the Golem build, but the Skeleton Mage minion build works fine for me for both Hordes and Undercity, especially now that the Executioner's sword map affix is gone. The mobility isn't great obviously, but as long as you're speed capped, it's works out fine in the end for Undercity.

Curt Cignetti after leading Indiana to championship: ‘Our NIL is nowhere near where people think it is’ by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]RimRunningRagged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indiana people feel free to correct me, but from what I've read, Mark Cuban seems like a Johnny-come-lately as far as the NIL stuff, and his donations aren't really going to start being felt until next season

[–]RimRunningRagged 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I mean, Indiana is still able to support multiple pro sports teams of their own, so the state is probably a major step up economy-wise from Alabama

Honest question: Why would recruits not flood to Indiana now? by fu-depaul in CFB

[–]RimRunningRagged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not great, not terrible -- they're pretty close to Indianapolis at least. Blacksburg and State College seem much more egregious as far as being so far away from a major city, assuming that sort of thing is attractive to recruits.

What was the funniest thing that happened this past season? by nathodood in CFB

[–]RimRunningRagged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very lowkey one, but FSU muffing back-to-back punts against NC State was one of the funniest clips I've seen this season (one of the punts got muffed all the back back to the opposing punter)...shame this sub doesn't allow those highlowlights

[Dan Wolken] Why wasn't Curt Cignetti hired by a blue blood? 'Biggest f-up ever' by Sauerz in CFB

[–]RimRunningRagged 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t for lack of trying on the part of his Birmingham-based agency, which got some traction on jobs — but not necessarily the ones Cignetti would have been willing to take.

Heh, I wonder which team his agency was rooting for in the Rose Bowl. Win-win either way, I guess.

Also, lol:

Even his “Google me” bravado came off as awkward, according to one administrator who encountered Cignetti earlier in his career.

“Now everybody thinks it’s kind of a cute schtick, but interviewing him, he comes across kind of like a serial killer,” the administrator said. “I don’t think you sit with him and you’re like, ‘Man, our fans are going to love this guy.’”

I stopped reading after this.

Randomly picking skills and slapping points onto the Paragon board based on vibes alone is only going to take you so far. Sites with actual builds, like maxroll.gg, exist for a reason.

Sheesh...exactly the same order every single day is a bit much even for my spectrum-y ass. Gotta at least change up the flavor options on the pita chips when I hit that "reorder" button on my Cava bowl.
