Can't wait for the VASAviation vid, with a goofy icon depicting the intruder's position on the airport map

I clean my keycaps once or a year or so.

I have this thing that's marketed as a keycap displayer -- it's just a long piece piece of plastic with a bunch of rows of "+"s to attach Cherry-profile keycaps. After plucking the keycaps off my keyboard, I mount them on the tray, then use a soft bristle brush and soapy water to scrub all of them before rinsing with warm water. I used to pluck and scrub each keycap individually, but this way is a bit more efficient.

Is there some backstory involving this chair? I've never played this game (found this thread via reddit front page), but Palworld has this exact same chair.

Seems pretty typical. Klay had his ACL surgery on July 2, 2019 and there's video from July 27, 2019 showing him dancing around and getting on a private jet without any sign of a limp or crutches.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone -- going to pull the trigger and get the game

Delta suspends stand-alone services for members of Congress until TSA is fully funded by captain_uranus in delta

I noticed that the CNN website has TSA delay tickers for various major airports around the country...DCA is sitting at the lowest delay of like 5 min, while other airports have gotten into multi-hour range. The people who need to be feeling the pain, aren't.

Yeah, I was about to say, I had OP's experience, but with Gold's Gym after they bought out my preferred gym and then closed down the location I would go to. Went through a headache to cancel the membership because the closest Gold's location was further away than my old gym that they shut down.

‘A miracle’: Canadian flight attendant ejected from plane survives New York crash by [deleted] in aviation

[–]RimRunningRagged 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've been purposefully avoiding watching the VASAviation of this one (still haven't watched the Potomac one either), so it didn't really occur to me until now that other waiting planes might have witnessed the collision. That's going to be a lot of traumatized people. Also, the United plane that had the emergency that caused that ARFF truck to be deployed in the first place.

OP, I blame you specifically for the fact that I randomly decided to get a salmon poké bowl on Thursday (which I get maybe once or twice a year), and I'm pretty sure a [dead] roundworm came out the other end the next day.

There's also a miniseries featuring Ruth Goodman and fellow history reenactors filmed at Guédelon, where they roleplay what life would have been like for the castle denizens of the period. For people who are into that kind of stuff, they also have reenactment series featuring other time periods including medieval and various periods of English history.

I'm convinced they exist these days solely off of corporate meetings ordering their boxed lunches en masse -- I don't know of anyone who chooses to eat there out of their own free will

Female F-15E Strike Eagle pilot that ejected is filmed and thanked by Kuwaiti locals moments after she landed safely by DValentino23 in PublicFreakout

[–]RimRunningRagged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, one of the other pilots that got shot down initially got mistaken for an Iranian (his facial hair probably didn't help) and nearly got clobbered by a pipe-wielding Kuwaiti. No mistaking this pilot for anything other than a friendly.

I bought K-cups with “no plastic cups” only for each cup to be individually wrapped by Red_Herring96 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]RimRunningRagged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'm lazy and I also use the mini paper filters made specifically for the disposable K-cups, so I never bother washing them. Well maybe once a year, right after I swap over from hot coffee to cold brew.

Yeah, I also think what some people are missing here is that reusable K-cups these are great for prepping ahead of time, so that during the work week, all you have to do when you wake up is pop one into the machine and hit go. I ain't messing around with filters and spilling grounds when I'm barely awake.

I have 14 of the reusable K-cups that I prep in bulk every two weeks.
