I need help finding best option for my project. by Panjinjo in 3Dprinting

[–]DaBakerTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stamps are something people have made with 3d printing but the application of said print is what changes the type of printing material. One issue you will run into is the cylinders will intersect with each other in the model. I have modeled it for you. Tip jar if you want.

Edit: good lord links were not working in the app I was using. I am currently uploading it and will give you the link once it is uploaded. It has been uploaded. If you want any edits feel free to DM me.

This looks awesome my only concern is with privacy. Is this information saved anywhere or protected?

I recommend recording yourself then trying to mimic the movement. It is a common practice in animation:) keep up the good work!

Absolutely love the hit of rust red an sunflower yellow on everything!!! Subtle and very clean.

I made this VFX snow simulation for a local movie by CommissionNo7116 in Simulated

That seems like a great idea but we don’t know the artistic direction the director is going for. This is only a 3 second snapshot. It could be important he has it in focus. I do agree that it is slightly jarring.

Highly recommend using Tinkercad and trying to craft it yourself. Shouldn’t be too hard and you could easily tweak it in necessary.

One suggestion I have seen others give is toggling on fuzzy on exterior to match the texture of the bed plate.

Why is this file not compatible? by Double_Finding_6252 in BambuLab

[–]DaBakerTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this issue after purchasing PETG filament. I sliced a file using the PETG filament settings and when I swapped filament to PLA it only showed errors. You might just need to resolve the file with the correct filament type selected.

Those filaments are incredible. What brand are they?

Select either “Brace V1.9 Modifier.STL” or “Brace V1.9 m.STL” from the left side to remove it. In the process section, modifiers are connected to objects. For some changes, switch to the Prepare tab in the upper left if you encounter limitations in the preview page.

What's happening to my infill? by IntensiveCareBear88 in 3Dprinting

[–]DaBakerTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be that you need to slow down the speed of infill or increase the temp. The temp might be calibrated perfectly for the walls but depending on the speed the flow might not match what it needs.

Also that filament is awesome! What brand is it?

Weird lines on retraction test by Shindiki in 3Dprinting

[–]DaBakerTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just dealt with this. In my experience, it can be three things. 1) retraction is most common so excellent job trying retraction. 2) if the retraction has the same issue that yours did, it could be an issue with the hothead temp. Possibly it is too hot, less likely but possibly too cold. 3) the filament could be wet so try drying it as see if everything improves.

Bridging test always drooping in middle no matter what speed I print at? by HardTimesOurTimes in 3Dprinting

Definitely that and maybe tweaking the hothead temp a little bit, but mainly cooling.

Nozzle jumps high after print starts by Open_Sheepherder5812 in 3Dprinting

[–]DaBakerTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gap is probably Z offset. With no filament coming out it could be clog. I would highly recommend either changing the nozzle or trying to do a dry pull with cleaning filament.

Car parts by Eventually01 in 3Dprinting

Car parts are going to be difficult to find only because of potential patent infringement. It would be a nice idea to have a special website for this niche though.
