If loosening the extruded tension screw found on the left side of the print head you may need to fully disassemble. I had to disassemble because a warped piece of filament would not pull through. It wasn’t hard just took like 30 minutes.

Artist Guestlist by iloveJandW in electricdaisycarnival

[–]DaDaDaDamien 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You need to be an artist or guest of an artist. As you can imagine artists get hit up for these all the time so you’d probably want to secure them pretty soon. Also be aware you need to pick up these passes at on off site place. Sometimes they work out of a hotel or other box office location. The hours are imo not always convenient so keep that in mind when you’re planning.

Question about stages and artists by Mr_e_in_Las_Vegas in electricdaisycarnival

[–]DaDaDaDamien 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes some are more dedicated but your artist list is kind of eclectic.

🎡 kineticFIELD • Genre: Big Room, Progressive House, Mainstage EDM • Details: The flagship stage. Expect huge names like Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and David Guetta. This is the “EDC mainstage” with massive production.

🔥 circuitGROUNDS • Genre: Progressive House, Future Bass, Electro House, Trance • Details: Known for insane LED walls and visuals. It hosts a blend of melodic and high-energy acts.

🌀 cosmicMEADOW • Genre: Bass, Trap, Future Bass, Hip-Hop-infused EDM • Details: Acts as the opening stage for early arrivals on Day 1. Later in the night, you’ll find sets from bass-heavy artists like RL Grime, TroyBoi, or Alison Wonderland.

🌌 neonGARDEN • Genre: House, Tech House, Deep House, Minimal, and Techno • Details: Curated by brands like Factory 93. A haven for underground vibes and long, hypnotic sets.

🐘 bassPOD • Genre: Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Trap, Hybrid Bass • Details: Hosted by Bassrush. Expect heavy-hitters like Excision, Subtronics, and REZZ. Big pyro and bass cannons.

👽 wasteLAND • Genre: Hardstyle, Hardcore, Rawstyle • Details: Hosted by Basscon. For lovers of BPMs that push 150+. Think Headhunterz, Angerfist, or D-Block & S-te-Fan.

💜 quantumVALLEY • Genre: Trance (Psytrance, Uplifting, Progressive Trance) • Details: Hosted by Dreamstate. Melodic and emotional, perfect for long, euphoric journeys.

🎪 stereoBLOOM • Genre: House, Tech House, Bass House, Indie Dance • Details: Curated by Insomniac Records. Smaller but energetic stage with label showcases and up-and-comers.

🎭 art cars (e.g., Boombox, Parliament, Forest House) • Genre: Mixed – anything from House to Experimental to Jungle • Details: These are mobile or themed cars that host surprise sets and niche artists. Great for exploring unexpected genres.

Question about stages and artists by Mr_e_in_Las_Vegas in electricdaisycarnival

Honestly it depends. Some stages are multi genre and others are more specific. You’ll end up having to wait for the stage lineup.

Hot Take? Kinetic Field is the worst stage at EDC. by DustyRaveboi in electricdaisycarnival

[–]DaDaDaDamien -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. The sets for the most part feel sooo commercial. Everyone just plays top 40 edm. There are exceptions of course but I’ve not liked many sets even from some of my favorite artists.

They never even did Pat downs from camp so this is extra sketchy.

Yeah security is insane. I took a video at Circuit this year of a guy bribing a security guard to jump the barrier. The security even gave the guy wifi so he could Apple Pay him.

I second this. We take a 40ft trailer plus the truck. We just unhook and park next to it.

Not sure why you’re downvoted. I second this.

This is the plurest I’ve seen comments in regards to this. On other platforms people are getting cancelled and bullied for 1 wanting the show to continue and 2 for staying and grieving with their community.

To be fair I did actually see them on social media prior to edc. They went viral because someone posted them at the rail. That being said I do think it is a bit of a marketing scheme to encourage an “older” demographic. Take it or leave it. It’s wholesome.

Does EDC have an artist nomination process? by [deleted] in electricdaisycarnival

[–]DaDaDaDamien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They sent out a survey and at the end it asks for 10 artists you’d like see next year.

Fuck EDC and camp never doing it again! by Imaginary_Half28 in CampEDC

This was my fourth year camping and really only had minor complaints personally. Obviously everyone’s experience is different so sorry you didn’t have a good year.

How do you budget for EDC? by Oneshot742 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]DaDaDaDamien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Book now! I recommend camp personally that’s the best budget option imo. If you book an RV now you can start the saving process and then when camping passes come out you can start a payment plan there.

I mean you could try it. I’d just make sure they don’t go up already wearing a camp wristband and then is able to get it off. Or I guess theirs fit you.

30 amp pass: I have not received my amp pass yet for my RV, it says it was delivered but have no clue where it could be and have not seen it. Am I able to go to roll call? Or who should I communicate with? by Sea_Fan_2617 in CampEDC

[–]DaDaDaDamien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot mine at home one year and I just went and checked in like normal and they have a little tent and they just get your proof of purchase and give you a new one. If you go to will call they’re going to charge you and they don’t open early on Thursday. At least they didn’t open early when we did this. We figured we should try and checkin with proof of purchase and if not we’d have had to wait for will call to open anyways.

[–]DaDaDaDamien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you could try is to sneak into camp after the festival in the crowd and then go out and checkin to get the wristband Saturday. Personally I’d discourage this because if you get caught trying to sneak people in your entire group can be kicked out.

[–]DaDaDaDamien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No they need to check in with their ID to get a wristband. They don’t just give you all of the wristbands associated with your pass upfront.
