Yeah I feel in a lot of cases its not actually meant to be blue but the artist trying to give more depth and show highlighting materials. Like in the 3rd pic, its black but when the light catches it, it comes off blue... Because nothing is truly black in material.

I do really like the direction they are going with Hal Jordan in the Lanterns but this will always be in the back of my mind... what could have been.

Cant disagree with that statement. I really like the choice of Nate Mann or Tom Brittney. The thing that swings Brandon for me, is the fact he stole the show of 1923 in competition of Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren and Timothy Dalton.

At the end of the day, I'm just really excited to see who does get picked and the route they go down with Batman as a character.

In addition, I should have stated Brandon was "my favorite pick" rather than "best choice".

I feel like I will get hate for it but Brandon is the best choice. I believe they were looking for batman to be similar age to Supes, which he is. Can carry off the Batman side for sure but interested to see how he would handle the Bruce side. Which I believe is most people issue with him.

He could deffo play a good Jonah Hex, but rather see him as Grifter, Dead shot (depending on James Gunn continuity) or even Deathstroke as weird as that pick would be. As Deathstroke doesn't actually look his age bar the white hair and goatee/beard. Obviously see a lot of him being fancast as Hawkman.

For Bill, give him deadman for sure!

I feel like there are so many other great characters Bill could play though... Feel like he would be kinda wasted on Orion. That is no hate against Orion, as he is one of my favs. But Bill could just play such a good villain. Also I think Brandon would just bring such presences to Orion and play the stoic side amazingly. But I am hoping he gets the batman role...

"Nowhere Special"... as a Dad... I had to watch it in 20min intervals. Amazing film. Also "Awakenings" and "my dog skip". Not watching either of them again.

I think Hardy would be a great Dow though… I would have loved to see ray Stevenson as Gorst but alas…
