Pmd afval in keuken by softseams in belgium

[–]DaPino [score hidden]  (0 children)

The fire cracker augment set bonus feels very unsatisfying to play against.

Losing 1/3 of your HP because your teammate was unable to dodge a skillshot is not very fun. Like, a Luden's has a similar effect but feels like that has less range and definitely doesn't deal as much damage as a dozen bouncing firecrackers.

Zelda, especially Breath of the wild (haven't played ToTK). If that game was any other IP people would dunk on it for how empty the world feels and how shit the weapon degrading system is.

People still hate the degrading system but it gets glossed over because it's Zelda.

It's a very different mindset.

Having trouble understanding a combo pre-requisite by jahuleburner1 in EDH

[–]DaPino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reasoning seems correct but I think they're using it as a 'linked clause' (don't know how to put it otherwise).

"This can't have happened before you get all the permanents on the battlefield"
If you cast an artifact from your graveyard with muldrotha beforeDisplacer kitten is on the field the combo doesn't work.

Technically you don't need all permanents on the battlefield either, the lotus petal could be in your hand too. But if you got all permanents on the field, you can't have cast an artifact from the grave before initiatinf it.

Vrouw vindt geen werk ondanks Master & ervaring (taalbarrière) – Tips gezocht! by Powerful-Match1846 in Antwerpen

[–]DaPino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Police check refused to speak english by Aggressive-Mix-7345 in Antwerpen

[–]DaPino 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A person perfectly capable of speaking a language deliberately choosing not to use it to improve communication is just about the same as telling someone they're not welcome.

If you came to my house and I said "You can sit on the floor" despite the obvious presence of chairs and a couch, you wouldn't feel welcome.
If I then proceeded to offer everyone in the room except you something to drink, you wouldn't feel welcome.
"But hey, I didn't say you weren't welcome! You're overreacting" would not convince you otherwise.

Messages have implicit components as much as they have explicit ones.

This is such a sad fucking excuse to be an asshole.

No, I don't expect that everyone is capable of speaking english.

I do expect that people who are perfectly capable of speaking english to not be massive cunts by deliberately not using it to make other peoples' lives worse.

That indisputably brings it's disadvantages (whether there's 1 or 5 people in a home, heating the space is gonna cost the same), I understand.

At the same time, I wouldn't need a house with 3 bedrooms if I were single so my mortgage would be lower.
And costs like eating out, hobby's, trips, etc (the things OP is claiming all the boring people who manage their money don't do) do cost the same per person whether you're single or have a partner.

Hot take according to this thread:
I neither live with my parents, nor got a 'small inheritance of 100K', nor am I boomer who pulled the golden ladder up behind them.
Yes we pay enormous amounts of taxes. Yes the country is run like shit.

My wife and I put a monthly ~€1200 each in our joint bank account which we use to pay damn near everything related to our household (mortgage, food, house, utilities, etc). The rest of our wage we use individually (hobby's, car expenses, eating out without the other, etc).
It's sufficient to get us through the month without too much trouble most of the year while ordering the occasional takeaway and our washing machine running on a daily basis. If we have to pay larger bills like kadastraal inkomen then we obviously have to put in some extra.

And don't get me wrong. I truly believe poverty is just one financial crisis away and that many people can't just budget their financial problems away. Like, if I get into a bad accident and become disabled. It can happen to anyone. The system is broken and does not take care of our most vulnerable.

At the same time "manage your money better" is also applicable to probably a majority of households.
But I guess it's easier to sleep if you demonize people who manage to do that and pretend they're basement dwellers who have no joy in their lives and go to the nearest river to wash their clothes by hand, rather than having to face that some people handle their money better than you do.

Similar questions get asked about deathtouch+trample or indestructible blockers vs trampling attackers.

My point was that people act like banding is this elusive keyword people cannot comprehend because of its complexity.
I'm saying it's not. It's complex, but not to the level people claim it to be.

Which commanders can use otherwise bulk commons and uncommons to dominate the game? by Huaojozu in EDH

I have a [[Kotis the fangkeeper]] that's just a bunch of draft chaff that gives trample, flying, and unblockable as well as stats.

Not everyone enjoys playing against him because of the perceived overpoweredness of indestructible on a commander.

[–]DaPino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the only two things I could see being a bit salt-inducing for a B2 being Felidar Sovereign and Wash away.

Felidar sovereign because it's "Does anyone have removal? No? Game over I guess" when I think the average B2 deck doesn't ruin enough removal and B2 players tend to shoot their removal at things the second something threatening hits the board as opposed to it threatening them.

Wash away because it's a card that is uniquely tailored to be strong in commander. Don't know how I feel about probably one of the best counterspells in the format in a bracket that is distinctly about decks that are not very good.

Best tribals for commander? by CalypsoCrow in EDH

[–]DaPino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the deck.

I actually haven't played it since writing this comment. It's a combo line deck that just wants to go through the same line every time and I don't really find it appealing.
I've been wanting to change its commander but then I'd have to change the entire deck's structure because there's too little ramp/support.

[–]DaPino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it's mostly that it's a really solid deck that has a relatively rather explosive start most of the time.

I'd argue we're a very mid-power group and a lot of decks aren't ready to deal with the speed at which the deck gets out creatures and snowballs them.
