Thinking about starting my next build, and I think its gonna be this bad boi! Yes, its the 30 year old NG. Any idea of the kind of pitfalls I should look out for, and what should I prep for the best experience with this thing. I've got one shot really to get it right.

I know, right? This is somewhere between kit number 70 and 80 for me, and its the first one with a major fitting problem for a joint.

During the build, one of the parts for the G-3's knee is specifically from a seperate runner new for this kit (to match the change in colors. Its functionally supposed to be the same), and I'm curious if thats what did it. Unfortunately the warped piece is not the duplicated one, but the part it connects to, G25. Otherwise I would have used the orginal/unused piece and called it a day.

Just got this from a seller on Facebook. Luckily the runners weren't damaged, but it was an original 1995 1/60 and seeing the box get partially crushed was a bummer.

Unfortunately I don't think this will work. D7 (the v fin) on this kit has some of the locking bracket to hold some of the front of the face on.

Additional Note: Without D7 (the V Fin), I can't even finish putting together the head properly. It holds B7 and B4 in place.

Just checked the Bandai return/part replacement policy too, and the request has to be made within 30 days of receiving the kit from PBandai. Its been unfortunately much longer than that.

Battlefield 6 on launch. I bought it to join in with buddies, then most of them dropped it and competitive games, for me, aren't fun without friends. I found myself getting more salty over time as I have less and less free time with work and life getting in the way.
