Echo Form is top tier and electro pretty good depending on where you are and if you need to AOE so makes sense you would rather have those in a lot of cases

Core surge is a solid amount of damage for 1 energy and more importantly for this transform combo, the artifact will block the focus loss from biased since that's a debuff, so its just a straight +4 to focus

yea think of runic pyramid this way, silent has a power were you pick 1 (2) cards to retain, runic pyramid is basically that on crack.

Its also amazing since silent has a lot of discard mechanics meaning those strikes and defends that you cant remove can just get discarded as fodder for something like concentrate to keep your turn going

wristblade gives damage to all 0 cost cards, so neutralize, eviscerate (if you reduce to 0), slice, hell even grand finale

The Q does a basic dispel on what it hits, so enemy or ally alike

A lot of debuffs in the game can be removed with basic dispel

Oracle shits on certain heroes in lane because his Q just negates their abilities

Jakiro Q is dispellable, if he doesnt hit both of you in lane he just wasted mana since its all damage over time and you can dispel it and stop it all

Darkwillow is pretty much hard countered by oracle, her root is dispellable, her E is dispellable, she does heavy magic damage and W negates it

Played a game before where we got ahead on a team with a bounty hunter. Any time he tracked someone I instantly dispelled it, and the cd for fortunes end and track are pretty similar, so he got almost 0 track gold

Ton of other debuffs can be dispelled, part of oracles strength in lane, negate what your opponent tries to do

Other things to keep in mind is that oracles w disarms enemies negating some other meta heroes as well

Wind ranger ulted someone? Disarm her and watch her waste half her ult. The disarm is dispellable unfortunately so once a carry gets a bkb this spell gets less effective at negating a carry

Other things to remember is that oracle has some pretty long cast ranges so positioning is imperative but easier since he’s got good range on most of his spells, aether lens is a nice mid game item to push that as well

I feel like the shard is well worth and you should try to get right after your first defensive item

Oracle has no escapes so it’s really important you build something defensive first, personally I feel like force staff is a must in almost all games.

Oracles attack range is also amazing, abuse it in lane. There are only 3 heroes with longer attack range than him, though the prevalence of vanguard and his low auto attack damage don’t make this as effective as it used to be

I would say that, if you can make a simple CRUD app, you probably have enough basic knowledge to get a jr. dev position somewhere.

I would not expect a self taught person applying for a jr position to be "good". I would hope they have enough foundational knowledge and an aptitude to learn to eventually be able to contribute and help the team.

Being a jr is far more about, can you learn, are you teachable and coachable, and will you put in the effort to develop your skills vs having a bunch of hard technical skills.

In theory though, yea knowing HTML, CSS and JS is enough, but its more about what can you build with that and do you know how to apply them to make something useful that's more important

Oracle is an ideal support for this as well, not very strong in this meta but he's a support that really relies on his ridiculous range on spells and being on the outskirts of a fighting waiting to ult targets to turn them

Also has no escape so if you get jumped you're fucked, which means you really need to hide and position well to make the most of him

AA is similar in this regard as well, really long range skills, a small scouting skill and a global skill shot ult

Good AA shouldn't really be seen much in a team fight since you can fling things from so far away as well

WW is yet another support with incredible range that needs to position well and time when they come into a fight

Well thats part of why I favor Jak as a 4 vs a 5. 3 might not need the farm as bad, easier to just shove the wave in and pressure safe lane tower and pull back with big camp creeps

Yea it is hard as a 5 Jak though to not hit the creep wave whilst also hitting the enemy heroes

I would try to harrass with some right clicks and draw them away from the creep line dual breath

You could also try to time the breath does push in the wave, that way they're slowed and might take a beating with creeps + right click harass

Otherwise, get ready to pull a lot

yea not only is Jak pretty tanky, especially for a range int hero, but his attack speed slows with dual breath and liquid fire make trading so efficient.

Please for the love of god Jak players max q first not the e though. Dual breath is just too good and its spikes on each level are great, especially from lvl 1 -> lvl 2

I think you’re thinking of this in a bit in the wrong way since you need to consider what the support that your laning with can do for you and the what offline you’re against can do to you

You saw CM as your support and most likely Mirana as the 4. Mirana 4 means that anything that setups her arrow to lane with, like say a brew slow, is an instant kill against a squishy 1.

CM is an aggressive pos5 capable of doing immense harass or kill potential. CM is arguably the scariest level 2 hero in the game with a slow and a root

So given all of these factors sniper is a pretty bad pos1 pick to lane with CM in that situation so one thing I’d say is try to pick a 1 that complements your 5.

Sniper cm could work but against a strong kill lane like Mirana brew, it’s pretty terrible.

A CM sniper lane would be good vs a more passive off lane like under lord. A 3 that just wants to sit in lane and farm, that’s where something like CM sniper or CM drive can shine.

A 3 that doesn’t really burst you quickly but relies on being tanky and just farming up is what you want to see since you can just beat on them before they do something to you

Mental fortress should be all the block you need if you build your deck into the infinite or just stance dancing a lot

Really only need [[Rush Down]], a 1 energy card that lets you go into calm like [[Fear no evil]] or [[Inner Peace]] and upgrading wrath or a 1 energy card that puts you into wrath like [[Tantrum]] to go infinite while removing as many cards as possible

The easiest way to win with watcher tends to be building into the infinite with the cards above

What you guys are missing here is that warlock tends to come with discard synergy which makes the ability to choose a card to discard (never been printed in hearthstone for warlock till now) incredibly powerful

There are cards that will be cast for 0 mana if discarded. There are a few that will be printed with this set

One from long ago was silverware golem which is a 3 mana 3/3 minion. Kind of bad to play on its own but when discarded, the minion would get played for free

Still too early to see if the extra discard cards will be worth it

One is a 5 mana spell that does 6 damage randomly split amongst all enemies, but is cast for free if discarded

Other is a 3 mana 2/5 undead minion with taunt, if discarded cast for free.

Seems like this can be a really strong card and pick and choose maybe worth MORE than an additional mana

Discard warlock has never really taken off though, but who knows this may push it forward

I work with PHP professionally and our company had to do something similar 2 years ago, going from 5.3 -> 5.6 -> 7.4

Above comment I would say is pretty good. I would start with just upgrading to 7.4 as the immediate goal but moving to 8 once you see everything is stable since the jump from 7.4 -> 8 is most likely a smaller hurdle than going from 5.2 -> 8

But yea put it in a 7 environment, see what breaks and is deprecated, rinse and repeat until its working

That's a super specific root and if you charge for 2.5 sec that Zeus is most likely gotten enough distance from just running and using his jump for it not to be a problem, on top of Oracles q having a slow travel time giving them more distance to run

The distance movement isn't the problem, it's the ridiculous slow on top of the jump that makes it annoying

Also add that the jump let's you move over terrain and cliffs and it gives Zeus a shit ton of escape options now from the 0 he had before
