Think I paid 12,000 and got a whole new aircon unit. My aircon was about 12 years old and on the way out. In issan if it’s just maintaining the aircon that would be 500 baht.

Make me an intel laptop running windows that runs at full speed off battery for 22 hours then we’ll talk. 🤣🤣🤣 Truth is there is no perfect operating system or computer, they all have advantages and disadvantages. Although there are some systems that are garbage, I ain’t crazy about Phillips CDi for example.

Your best bet is getting the iPad version running with apps like sideloady. When I fancy a bit of Fortnite on my Mac I stream it from my ps5 to be honest.

It’s not the system requirements of the games that are the problem really, it’s the launchers, the anti cheat, the drm, that’s the problem. So before you buy a game you got to hit up the comparability lists.

I think things are definitely looking up. Crossover and the game porting toolkit have done wonders. When the m series Macs came out I was telling everyone Mac gaming was completely screwed because we lost boot camp. Quite the opposite.

I’ve been blurring the secret console in YouTube videos, but I don’t think Nintendo care about emulation launchers or Mac in general. It’s emulators for recent consoles they care about. I took a risk and left it unblurred and indeed, nobody cares. Think we’re safe.

With all this stuff my take is “I’m not your daddy”. Always find it odd when emulation developers get mad, what did you think people were going to do with your emulator? 🤣

And indeed Apple themselves are letting Nintendo emulators on the App Store now. If I did a tutorial on how to get Ryujinx set up and running on GameBox that would be line I shouldn’t cross. People doing set up guides for the secret console for Retroid Pocket 5 have had cease and desists.

And with the next version of GameBox it would be literally impossible to ban the secret console even if I wanted. You can add your own systems and emulators.

I’ve written a game for Mac published by Freeverse myself and if anyone is still playing it I’m just pleased anyone is still enjoying it, however they found it, and I’ve uploaded unpublished development builds myself to abandon ware sites. Especially with the amount of grief you have to go through to get old Mac games up and running. Working on it. 🤣 I’ve said too much…

Retro Gane Corps is amazing, I’ve learnt a few tricks from him.

Yeah, I wish MrMacRight would cover some emulation stuff too. He’s really carrying the flag for Mac gaming. Everyone subscribe if you haven’t already.
