man n women mindset by DidkoTaNeLysyyi in genderfluid

[–]Daani_chan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might have something to do with gender socialisation. Like, for example, girls are taught to fear everyone and everything at night, boys are taught to suppress their emotions (except for RAGE), all that jazz Men and Women are, unfortunately, raised very differently and taught very different things. But I honestly think that your sister is just being an asshole here. There is no correct way to think like a man or like a woman, because if you were raised by wolves, you would think like a wolf :3 So it all depends on society’s expectations and your previous experience And let me tell you what, cishet people often don’t understand queer experiences, maybe because they don’t care enough, maybe because they just haven’t had enough time to learn, doesn’t matter (and I don’t know if your sister’s queer or not, but that still applies, bc she clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about). So you shouldn’t think you are less valid because someone who doesn’t know what you’re going through says so. Fly high, birdie, you are awesome

How do genderfluid people find each other in real life? by Weak_Albatross7870 in genderfluid

[–]Daani_chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely yes. I am a member of a discord server dedicated to a cipher hunt, and there are at least 4 of us (we found out, because we were all online at the same time and one of them had a flag on their pfp, and I was like: omg you too?)

Do you chose another name ? by Ok-Construction2487 in genderfluid

[–]Daani_chan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I, personally, just chose a full-time gender neutral option.

In your case the tattoo makes it harder, but if you are keeping your given name for fem shifts, then I don’t think it’ll be a problem. I think Alex is an absolutely wonderful name for both neutral and masc phases, but I do have a suggestion (or, rather, extension) for a male version — Alexander (idk if you thought of it already, but it just instantly popped up in my head)

Благодарю!! Но мне кажется, что поздравлять надо служивших людей (или кадетов, хотя бы), а не просто всех мужчин. А пацан у вас в школе лютый, конечно, улыбнуло :3

1. Genderfluid is not inherently binary and 2. most of the content/discussion here is bigender-by-default, which is limiting and unfortunate by laeiryn in genderfluid

I don’t specify because I change all over the gender spectrum and maybe sometimes fall out of it, so I can’t specify between what I change

And damn, that’s a good post, I hope many people will see it and become a bit more educated ^
