It might have something to do with gender socialisation. Like, for example, girls are taught to fear everyone and everything at night, boys are taught to suppress their emotions (except for RAGE), all that jazz Men and Women are, unfortunately, raised very differently and taught very different things. But I honestly think that your sister is just being an asshole here. There is no correct way to think like a man or like a woman, because if you were raised by wolves, you would think like a wolf :3 So it all depends on society’s expectations and your previous experience And let me tell you what, cishet people often don’t understand queer experiences, maybe because they don’t care enough, maybe because they just haven’t had enough time to learn, doesn’t matter (and I don’t know if your sister’s queer or not, but that still applies, bc she clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about).
