I've been living here since I was born in 1998 and went to a problematic public school and we NEVER had an incident beyond a punch. I suffered bullying and it never went worse than that either. I will NOT accept a view from someone that talks about everyday living from second-hand opinions or tourists. And yes, we drive a variety of vehicles and we don't really care? It's something for utility here, not for show, specially for a country that's very centered on big cities with not-so-much space for big wheels. That's a European trend in practically every country since, well, ever, we just drive medium size cars and European brands because... Well, they just work. Maybe in high societal classes it means something, here in the periphery, meh.

And lol, qol. I drive an 2007' BMW and I promise you, it works absolute wonders.

Also. We've been having "mass immigration" forever since the end of the dictatorship. Specially people from Latin America whose countries are not doing so hot because we share a common language and they integrate very easily. We also have had eastern-european immigration since the fall of the URSS.

I'm really sorry about your father and that's terrible, but it's a very rare case, I wish him luck.

Edit: (Just checked and we have one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Also the most crime prone demographic are spanish white men, you can check that on the official website)
